You are nuckin futs...hes top 4, nice oulet passes, got better as he played more and tough in corners, his last two games were his best, plus good skater and puck carrier. Yes he needs experience and weight, but think Bill Haight shut down guys who could start breakout.

Have my doubts about Sabres getting Stamkos, Vessey more likely and it may be better for him going Buff v. Leaves... more playing time. Buff is in similar situation to the Oil in that its hard to attract FA, if i had to guess he will stay in Tampa and Buff signs Vessey.

I agree best idea and let folks think offer still on table even if he walk away to keep price high, then if they balk, do it again at lower price but the same way. Take or leave, but say offering high price.

This game is the reason why soccer needs penalty boxes. The amount bs stuff behind the scenes and even in front with intent injure was a disgrace. Free kicks and yellow cards too much, red cards maybe too severe. 5 min man downs would work especially if a team racked up multiple man downs.

1. The emotional part is an ironic twist because his use of stats are supposedly devoid of emotion.... just saying 2. This is the problem with a lot of staticians, they get arrogant about their results implying they show cause and effect, when in fact stats show neither. They only show that when one or multiple factor(s) is/are present another factor tends to change in corresponding or opposite direction in a predictable manner. Stats are always limited by the type of info gathered, the amount of it (sample size) and ability to quantify a certain skill set, always an issue when figuring out a human activity.
