Hated him in fantasy. Skill set looks a lot like Shakir. Not sure I see a #2 WR.

It does seem like they squeak out wins or get blown the ***** out. Stats kinda line up.
-
Or make teams have to be cap compliant on a game to game basis. If the roster you put on the ice isn’t under the cap, you gotta sit someone.
-
Listening to Darren Dreger on Sabres Live, he stated that Bettman and the league front office personnel aren’t concerned at all with teams like Vegas completely abusing the salary cap restrictions with their ridiculous LTIR manipulation of the cap. Has there ever been a company so tone deaf to their sports basic fundamental principles?

You don’t know ***** from Shanola!! -
This won’t make any difference

And not that it matters but UPL has been by far their best player all season.
-
I saw a couple hits by Clifton that seemed a little extra IYKWIM, but I never got the license plate of who he hit. Is he done beating his wife?
-
Honestly, the team needs a couple more players that’ll do something about it. Cozens, Robinson and Clifton can hold their own against either of the two chumps who ran UPL. Not responding is inexcusable.
-
Apparently it’s open season on UPL or any other Sabres netminder for that matter. Can anyone explain the lack of response by the Sabres other than being the softest team in the league? Was an explanation given (imho there is no excuse for not decking whoever ran UPL into the upper deck)?

I also don’t think inserting 17 & 71 into the lineup moved the needle but maybe removing 21 & 37 improved their speed?
-
If they can bring in the best player in the world, to offset the overpaid D, they’ll be fine?
-
Oh I’m no VO fan but he can keep other teams on their heels with his shot. They need to move him out in the off-season and put Savoie or Kulich in his place.
-
So removing Mitts, Okposo and EJ and replacing them with Byram, Jost and Olofsson has improved the Sabres pace of play. What we saw last night is similar to what we saw last season. I think they need to maintain this style and add players like Savoie and Kulich and could really become a team that plays fast. They may need to supplement the roster with some faster bottom 6 players.
