Cracking on the AHL staff for not developing anyone is laughable. Who the ***** did they have to develop? Olofsson turned out fine. Borgen is on track. Aslpund is doing well. Nylander? A half hearted benefactor of nepotism that was drafted about 20 spots too high. I saw someone mention Tage Thompson. He, of a grand total of 24 games with the Amerks, put up 21 points in those games, looking absolutely dominant. The cupboard's are bare. There hasn't been anyone to develop as they are already NHL players or are never gonna be NHL players.

Frankly, the content we get from Yerden, Yost and Chad I'm not even going to try to spell his last name far surpasses anything Paul has done recently. If you need a "voice" for Sabres reporting, Marty Biron is absolutely worth a listen. His interview with Cozens was 1000% more in depth than anything I've heard come out of Hamilton's mouth.

To answer the OP, no the Pegulas should not seek any assistance from the league. It's run by buffoons. As far as the on going Kim Pegula doesn't know anything or isn't qualified, she can sit on this teams face, ride it into the sun yelling "Who Else?!?" for all I care. She's made decisions in her life to get herself into this position, go suck an egg if it bothers you.

I'm not overly optimistic about Adams but I'm definitely not envious of any of the NHLs old guard. Particularly, one that had something to do with the NHLs disciplinary system. Arguably, the worst run group in any sport.

Thanks for laying out what I've been screaming from the roof top. They scuttled their staff because they can't pay them. They aren't making money. So rather than furlough or ask everyone to take pay cuts, they chopped off the whole damn head. Going to make for some interesting organization rebuilding.
