I can’t believe people still get worked up about who makes an all-star game. It’s a popularity contest, and not even a current one. All star games are the worst exhibition in sports. It’s a joke, a farce. You should have stop caring about them 40 years ago. JFC.

I wouldn’t hate waiving Hiney but it seems like an opportune time with Kulich, Rosen and Rousek coming into their own, to move someone on the current roster. The candidates include Mitts, Olofsson, Asplund, Hinestroza. If I’m GMKA, I float their names out as available and see who bites. Just take the highest draft pick and move on.

I know this is all tongue in cheek but neither mitts nor Girgs have the hockey sense Tuch does. Mitts issue isn’t effort (although it could be better), it’s hockey IQ. He just has no idea what to do. Constantly skating or passing into the teeth of the defense. He doesn’t recognize what he’s seeing on the ice.

They should be adding a dman & two forwards (to take 37 & 71s spots). Every time they are on the ice, it’s a liability for the Sabres. They had a better game last night and have been better overall with Jost but if Adams is serious about the playoffs (nothing I’ve heard says he is), he’ll make moves prior to the deadline to give this team reinforcements.

It was neat that those things fell as they did did to end up with all those “3”s. I don’t believe any of it was intentional, if so I may need to revaluate my belief system.
