Funny looking.

No but I feel like I need to do a few here you go:
-
Well, they’ll be taller on Saturday. 😬
-
That gif is 10x funnier than most of what I read here. And it’s not that funny.
-
Sure they also now have two 5’9” defenseman, with their skates on. The future is bright, after failing to do what even the most thick skulled Neanderthal GM could have done in his first 5 years Adams appears to be righting the ship with actual NHL sized defenseman. This all stems from resigning Bryson, which was his dumbest move in an infinite sea of moronity. Bryson, for all his height criticisms, isn’t actually even marginally acceptable as an NHL defenseman. He’s god awful. All the stats bear it out. That move doomed this franchise. You can’t accept and tolerate poor play. Not only did Adams accept it, he rewards it.
-
Jamar Chase may go down as the greatest WR of all time. He’s already top 5. Higgins is an all pro. It’s not like those guys fall off trees.
-
The criticisms aren’t the problem. The boat, taxes, fax machine, palm tree stuff is tired and not funny. Find new material.

I guess we all have different senses of humor. I equate the MW schtick to the “we have a hearing test at work today” my favorite jokester in the building “what”? I preemptively screamed that fat fuzuck down the last time he tried it before he could utter a syllable. That shits not funny. Go tell some other lonely weirdo your terrible dad joke. It’s not funny, don’t say dumb ***** like that around me. Step your game up and actually use your brain if you want to be funny.

I guess when you’re tall, handsome, rich and have everything handed to you on a silver platter your whole life, who don’t have the kind of rage built up inside that less fortunate souls do. I would have committed at least one felony if that punk ass bitch said anything like that to me. On the ice and after the game. Such is the life of coddled athletes.
-
Yes thanks for stating the obvious that I myself have gone on countless rants about.
-
Novikov, Komarov, Mrtka...all NHL sized defenseman performing better than Metsa currently, but Zach has intangibles and vaunted leadership from his college exploits.
-
Ok. The NHL average 6'1" 200 lbs. forward is still going to have their way with Peter Dinklage and Brad Johnson...er...Jacob Bryson and Zach Metsa. All I'm asking is for this team to behave in such a manner that doesn't seem counter intuitive with how the rest of the league works. This team can't afford to be the frontrunners on height challenged NHL defenseman.
-
The problem being Both of them may be in the lineup. The Sabres already get laughed at by their peers on the ice to their face. What level of hilarity will the opponents engage in when the Oompa Loompa squad is out there trying to keep 6'5" 240 lbs monsters out of the crease. They will get eaten for dinner.

GDT: Senators @ Sabres October 15, 2025 @ 7PM, MSG-B, ESPN, FUBO

The rage that sets in when I see the Doan Foligno comparison. For sake, we had Foligno and Borgen, and Hagel (sort of) and the Sabres just pissed those players away for no good reason other than sheer incompetence. -
The boat nonsense is right up there with the palm tree schtick. Not funny or interesting. He's a billionaire, he can do whatever he wants with his money.
-
Metsa is in such lofty company as Brett Murray and Lucas Rousek... Maybe he'll be something. I'd have 0.0% issue if they didn't already have another mighty mite playing defense in the NHL. Did you watch Bryson get pitchforked into his own net on a routine net crash by Ottawa last game? Unless Zach Metsa is the second coming of Torey Krug I don't see the intrigue. The Sabres need defenseman with snarl, not platform shoes.
-
Make out with him intensely?
-
He brings 5'9" of man
-
I’m telling you it’s Adams thinking he’s being clever
-
It’s Adams thinking he’s being clever sending Johnson down because he’s waiver eligible
-
Not exactly tearing up the AHL. You’ve had this take on him for a bit. I’m glad he has a fan but I don’t see the allure.
-
I’m assuming it’s Adams and his high level roster mgmt style
-
Guessing they did the requisite, who doesn’t need to pass through waivers criteria, as flawed as that thinking might be.
-
I agree. It’s why a lot of teams send out their muckers to stir things up a bit, rattle the boards, and get the crowd going. These are layups for an organization yet thus one acts like they’ve never been to a hockey barn.
