Evander Kane arrested on misdemeanor charge for June nightclub incident
Neo replied to Hoss's topic in The Aud Club
Hoss, I changed three words in your post. I think you have crafted an artful and universally applicable response for any web back and forth that I can imagine. (Taking no side in your current endeavor, by the way). -
She's a GATOR! I will read more. Nerdy conservatives with smarts ... Katherine Timpf. Hillsdale College (which offers a spectacular online non-matriculated curriculum for life long learners) ************* Oh, and there's this. Do NOT click if you're comfortably orthodox .... "Slaves to narrative are fugitives from reason. Their societies die." Read more at: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/440361/police-shootings-black-white-media-narrative-population-difference

I remember that article very well. I remember everything PN writes. I'm smitten.

Interesting observation ... conclusionless ... I posted a few days ago that several colleagues "acknowledged" they were voting for Trump. Professional, successful, nice guy, etc., etc. ... Well, I live in a subdivision, middle class, suburbs, mostly two parent, school kids, white (90-95%) , black (5-10%) ... suburbia. Largely white and not deplorable or desperate. About two weeks ago, the first Trump sign hit a lawn. Then another, and another ... this is Florida, btw. Now the funny stuff ... the signs are disappearing at night! Those closer to "neighbors being neighbors" gossip have theories ... sorta funny. Free speech signs are arising, and Trump signs are being "brought in" at night for safekeeping. I'm starting to see Trump bumper stickers on upscale cars, if that means anything. It's as if Trump voters are coming out of the closet.

If I didn't say it, I thought it. I may have said it.

My comment is only that the purchase or sale of memorabilia isn't unusual. If they're not used correctly, that could be a problem, yes. I simply don't know how they were used. As items, they're standard fare.

I use too many words. I should've said, simply, "you're right."

Is his orange skin "foundation"? When you look like me, or when you're simply a kind human being, commenting on appearance makes you a little queasy. Trump's "different". I chalk it up to branding, like so much else with him. Different, not me, but whatever floats your boat. Toss in a smidge of vanity, perhaps. Vanity is dangerous at 70. HRC seems without vanity. The foundation, oddly enough, may fall into the same vanity, or self interest, category. Foundations are different cats. Some are purely charitable and some are charitable while being vehicles to ends. Are the two we're discussing both the latter? Nothing wrong, necessarily, with either approach. The rules, the laws, must apply. I'm hopeful both receive the same scrutiny by voters. The Clintons have received more scrutiny, seems to me. PastaJoe mentioned Tebow helmets and Trump portraits. Memorabilia is a regular purchase/sale item among charities running auctions at galas. Sounds weird. I just attended a charitable event with everything from Tebow to Ringo Star for bid.

No hate, here. Team NA impressions, for me: McKinnon re-emerging and Matthews' star power. I lost McKinnon last year. My only prolonged viewing of Matthews was the WJC. While he was very good, there, I didn't get a generational feel. Kid's awesome.

I think of no prejudice I've heard described as not existing. True.

Random thoughts while wondering what ever happened to Randy Wyrozub. 1) IRS Commissioner John Koskinen testified, today and before the House, that the IRS targeted conservative groups. Shocking, I had no idea the IRS was politicized. I wonder if President Obama will learn this tomorrow, when he reads the newspaper, in the same manner he learned of the original outrageous behavior. Further, the Commissioner admitted records were not retained, were destroyed and were not produced pursuant to Congressional inquiry. Apparently, his staff didn’t brief him regarding this when he first testified. You know, back when the issue was front and center. The good news, such as it is, is that we can retire the “Lois Lerner witch hunt” narrative. Witch hunt, always trotted out first, and retired last. In a related note, the IRS is both the rule issuing and enforcement arm of the Affordable Care Act, aka 17% of the American economy and home to your most personal information. Your finances and your medical records with “the good hands people” in terms of rules and enforcement. We need more government. 2) President Obama indicated that gender bias could hurt HRC’s chances against The Donald in the coming presidential election. “There's a reason why we haven’t had a woman president,” Obama said at a Clinton event. “We as a society still grapple with what it means to see powerful women and it still troubles us in a lot of ways, unfairly” the great orator went on to say. “This should not be a close election but it will be, and the resonate will be is not because of Hillary’s flaws.” No one asked the President, unfortunately, if he formed the same gender bias conclusion watching people vote for him over HRC in 2008. Of course he didn’t. That would’ve been absurd and silly. It still is. Sometimes he makes me giggle. 3) Paul Combetta is an IT specialist who worked for Platte River Networks of HRC email server fame. It is being reported that the House is investigating alleged reddit posts by Combetta including the one, below. Seriously, check these out. There’s a lot of ‘em. POST: "Hello all- I may be facing a very interesting situation where I need to strip out a VIP’s (VERY VIP) email address from a bunch of archived email that I have both in a live Exchange mailbox, as well as a PST file. Basically, they don’t want the VIP’s email address exposed to anyone, and want to be able to either strip out or replace the email address in the to/from fields in all of the emails we want to send out. I am not sure if something like this is possible with PowerShell, or exporting all of the emails to MSG and doing find/replaces with a batch processing program of some sort. Does anyone have experience with something like this, and/or suggestions on how this might be accomplished?" Most interesting of all, the reports say the Reddit message appeared on July 23, 2014. This followed by a day or two an agreement between the House Benghazi Committee and State Department related to the production of related records. They say HRC is investigated over and over again. TWENTY THREE TIMES! I’m going to Google crime proximity investigate correlation cause effect. Good thing obstruction of justice is just a digital email policy thingy, or I’d be inclined not to vote for her, making me, you know, a misogynist uncomfortable with powerful women. Cue the scarecrow. 4) The Department of State indicated recently that Iran may be “emboldened” in light of the nuclear deal we reached with that country. The admission came in response to questions about Iranian military aggressiveness and rhetorical bellicosity. I’m not sure “emboldened” is a synonym for “contained, slowed, constrained”. Before we criticize State, though, we should take into account Iran's recent influx of walking’ around cash. Boat loads of unmarked bills make you bold! 5) Trump’s son was criticized for using a metaphor comparing human beings to snacks, or skittles. Look, there are more than a few Trump supporters who make similar mistakes. That said, a few bad apples … oops. Nevermind. 6) A bunch of guys in NY and NJ planted a bunch of things a bunch of places. The things did what those particular things do. None of the things I’m referring to is necessarily related to any other thing. I am calling on courageous leaders to condemn bunches of guys doing things with things. If that doesn’t lead, crystalize thought, inspire resolve, articulate our values, and coalesce a people, nothing will. Of course, there are those who don’t see us as a people. Instead, they see us as a gaggle of micro offended groups and, accordingly, see merit in saying nothing. In that case, "flapdoodle and poppycock!!” 7) CNN is reporting ISIS (oops) is using mustard gas in Iraq against US troops, aka young American men and women. The JV’s been practicing. I think this escalation in weaponry calls for a stern announcement from our Commander in Chief outlining even MORE military options we’ll take off the table in response. While announcing this would be a terrible military move, it would mollify domestic voters who don't understand what a military is. Priorities, priorities.

Dearest Laetetia ... We stumble. Oh, our warriors were worthy, and produced prolifically. It was leadership, or lack thereof, that brought defeat and sullied you. I am humbled and shamed. No, I am distraught and inconsolable. No, wait, I am chastised and ... never mind, you get the picture, my lustrous orb. In any event, 'twas me who left points on the bench. No one else. Precious points in light of the worthiness of my pursuit. I self flog. I will be better.

An afternoon at the movies led me to Google "Sully Hudson Simulation". Cool stuff. Wade through it and you'll find some documentaries, easily available on YouTube. I push paper. Men and women who handle machinery fascinate me. The stakes were so high ...

Marco Rubio believes it would then be small a small fingerprint.

I saw Sully this afternoon. Driving to the movie, I wondered if you could turn a 2:08 minute event into a compelling two hour story. I learned you cannot.

Awesome .... thank you.

I'll skip the "right to meddle" part of the debate. This would be very bad meddling, right notwithstanding. You shouldn't emasculate managers. Managers shouldn't stand for emasculation. I'd even like to hear a player or two said "you should be asking coach Rex". You'll always get candidates, true. There are fewer coaching jobs than there are US Senators. I wonder, though, if you'll get those with options. How they could possibly have thought this wouldn't get out is beyond me. All of the above recognizing that we're working with incomplete information. All rights to revise opinion reserved.

Swamp's porch, garages, Mary on the half shell ... how I miss Buffalo. I remember pink flamingos, before they were pop culture kitsch.

I do. I benched Forte. Two questions for the good Doctor, True Blue. 1). Does polling suggest Johnon pulls more from one candidate than the other? I've seen talking heads speculate both ways. I'll leave Stein out for simplicity, only. 2). Do pollsters feel, discuss, or test for a potential Trump under-representation when voters are answering polling questions vis-à-vis when they're actually pulling levers? My reason for asking number 2, above, was a Friday conversation with three colleagues. Successful, advanced degrees (two attorneys), employed, and NO bigotry, deplorable, or desperate characteristics ... and they all said Trump. However, they each paused and glanced around before answering. I had no idea he'd get all three from that crowd. Spouses, too. Six for six. None very vocal and all a bit wary when answering. I understand margin of error. I'm wondering if the margin of error when Trump's involved isn't larger and skewed.
