  1. I'm not sure if you're serious. No, you can't possibly be asking this question seriously. So... PARTY TIME!
  2. That's funny, I expected this to be your reply. Weird how that works.
  3. Wait, I'm sorry, does this constitute celebrity fawning, or whatever it is people are being accused of in the Kane-rape thread?
  4. It's a pretty serious break. Gonna require surgery: "As far as the type of surgery, Chiarelli said, “There will be plates and screws involved.” Watching that video, it could have been far far worse, though.
  5. Excuse you, but this kind of post is disgusting. So you decided to come in here and shame people based on positions you are clearly misrepresenting. You like stats and data? Provide some data yourself: who is victim shaming in this thread? And what is your evidence? Who is "crowing over their 'victory'" in this thread? State your evidence. If you want to be the moral bully, at least have the courage to call people out directly. And here's a question that's sure to make you apoplectic: how do they know 68 in 100 rapes go unreported if they are, in fact, unreported?
  6. No, but I was thinking that's how they were going to start the season. It seems like such an obvious pairing to try.
  7. I guess where I'm headed is if it occurs the opposite way...we send Lehner to the Amerks for conditioning.
  8. I like his tracking, positioning, and he has become more aggressive each NHL game he has played. I'm afraid the book on him for now will be to get him down. When he's down he looks like he's trapped in one of those sumo wrestler costumes. He seemed to be down and rolling around less tonight, and wasn't sitting nearly as far back into the crease as he had the prior two games. So, he's getting coached and responding. I assume we have our pair, now, until Lehner comes back. I wonder what they'll decide to do when Lehner's ready, especially if our goalies are doing "okay", if not "pretty good".
  9. Interesting take, and I like it. I wonder if Bylsma has toyed with the idea of putting Jack on the fourth line, just to give him space for a shift or two until the other team figures it out. And, now that you mentioned it, I wonder if this is part of the reason why Bylsma keeps re-ordering the lines; not just to look for chemistry, but as an experiment to see how a lack of structure affects his team, and the opposition's matching. That'd be a really heady game, right there.
  10. Can I stow away in your carry-on on the way back? I won't steal anything. Promise.
  11. Oooo...I like Ullmark's little celebration. Need more scoring, though.
  12. ROR pretty quiet tonight.
  13. Samson! Take that, nay-sayers.
  14. Gorges is riding the razor's edge tonight with his hitting.
  15. I'm not motion-sensitive, but this camera work is going to make me ill.
  16. The ice; they're not making snow with their skates, they're making slush.
  17. What'd they do, put pins in his hips?
  18. Gotta get those commercials in!
  19. I haven't had much of a problem with this game so far. The only thing that jumps out is how having Ennis back totally spoiled the lines.
  20. I like everything about Ullmark except his inability to quickly get up once he's down on the ice.
  21. Haha! Olde tymes.
  22. "...our prices are INSANE!"
  23. OMG, anyone remember the PIX video game contests on TV? "pix...pix...pix...pix..."
  24. I haven't posted a thing about Foligno since the start of the season. Nope, not me.
