  1. How's Mitts been looking?
  2. Turned on the game a few minutes ago not expecting it to have gone anywhere yet. I thought the score was shots on goal at first.
  3. Their PP is super flaccid. Lots of utterly stupid attempts to pass to the middle. Over and over again. Who drafts these things up? There are 31 other teams to watch and get ideas from.
  4. That 6v5 and the PP generally still suffer from too little movement. The only real shortcoming they had this game was not figuring out how to get Gustavsson moving.
  5. I'm not offended by this game, so far. The Wild play a suffocating game. However, the Sabres need to pick up their jam. Wouldn't be surprised if Lindy shuffles the lines a little.
  6. So happy to see Reimer get the win and look good doing so. Leave Levi in Rochester and secure a playoff slot!
  7. They're playing with confidence in front of Reimsies.
  8. This is Krebs' breakout year fer shure.
  9. Boo. So, Reimer is slow at tracking rebounds. Noted.
  10. I'm alright with Reimer playing tonight. I've been curious to see his game.
  11. I actually let it do that to symbolize the refs influence on certain, not all, games.
  12. Tonight's Battle on Ice: Buffalo Sabres Face Off Against the San Jose Sharks Pack your bags, Sabres fans, because tonight, our team is taking their talents to the City of San Jose for a showdown with the Sharks! It's the Buffalo Sabres versus the San Jose Sharks in what promises to be an aquatic-themed battle on the ice. Puck Drop: 8:00 PM EST (actually more like 8:10 PM). Watch Live: Tune in via MSG-B, NBCSCA, WGR550. Current Standings: Sabres 10-9-1 / Sharks 6-11-5. When: Tonight, under the Californian stars, when the time zones confuse everyone but the players on the ice. Where: SAP Center, affectionately known as the Shark Tank, where the Sabres will attempt to turn the tide in their favor. Why Watch: Because it's not every day you get to see if our Sabres can out-swim actual Sharks. Plus, there's that whole thing about hockey being a beautiful, chaotic ballet of speed, skill, and sometimes, sheer luck. So, whether you're in San Jose cheering from the stands or watching from the comfort of your living room, let's show our support. Let's hope our Sabres can keep the Sharks at bay and maybe, just maybe, show them that in hockey, the biggest fish isn't always the one with the most bite. (Disclaimer: Viewing this game might result in sudden urges to start chanting "Let's Go Buffalo" and possibly considering a career in professional ichthyology to understand the Sharks better.)
  13. Not sure where this belongs, exactly, but I think it plays into current conversations on brain injuries and sports:
  14. If Tuch does anything consistently it's creating turnovers at our blueline.
  15. I'll take that point considering the first 37 minutes they were super flat.
