  1. I think Donny threw him out there to start the game, wasting no time getting Bryson’s feet wet.
  2. He’s been more impressive than Clifton. But like I said, anything more than utter disaster is more impressive than Clifton.
  3. Waking up now. Lets go!
  4. Once again, Donny doesn’t have them ready to start a game.
  5. I’m gonna go out on a limb and predict Bryson will be better than Clifton has been. I realize that’s not saying much, but it won’t take much for Bryson to show better than Clifton as anything better than utter disaster would be an improvement over the hot mess we’ve seen from Clifton to this point. The dude is just stealing money to this point.
  6. A combination of both I’d say. The forwards can do a much better job and the defense has more lapses than you’d like to see, and the goaltending just hasn’t been good enough. Hoping Toker can settle that down when he returns to the lineup.
  7. Good thing the Amerks lead the AHL in scoring (33 GF) because they’ve given up the second most goals as well (31 GA).
  8. Let’s just say that in watching the Amerks games this season, I kept thinking Tokarski couldn’t get back soon enough. Cooley makes UPL look like a Vezina candidate.
  9. Matt Ellis is the Matt Ellis of play design.
  10. In the words of Shoresy, isn’t Dahlin a beauty.
  11. Inept is a word that readily springs to mind.
  12. Tough break for Comrie as he seems to get injured each year. Damn.
  13. I just feel so terrible about Clifton getting ejected. 😂
  14. Comrie needs to go to rebound control school. He’s terrible at it. Oh, and Clifton continues to be less than good.
  15. That’s one way of looking at it. Another way might be that it’s a tall order for their PP tonight.
  16. Can they use the same tandem that Eichel and Reinhardt used?
  17. Iran keeps poking the bear with their piddly proxy “militias” in the region. So far, I like our measured responses like taking out munition depots in Syria and meeting their charged, heated rhetoric with calm and simple statements about not wanting the conflict to escalate and reserving our right to protect our troops and interests in the region all while inserting additional troops and military assets into the theater illustrating our full intention to do so. People like Ramasmarmy need to understand that it’s our NATO allies as well as those in the Pacific that enable us to deploy such assets in order to meet potential threats.
  18. That was a fun watch. Young guns were the difference. I think that bodes well for the future.
  19. Per the bold, what? They dominated Ottawa and handed them their collective butts for 55 minutes. If anything, they didn’t deserve to lose.
  20. But Barry Sanders was the epitome of elite and he never won squat. Individual talent defines eliteness, not winning championships. Been many scrubs just along for the ride on championship teams.
  21. 1994 Brooks Hatlen “Brooks was here” is what he wrote. Subject was Sabres Impending Doom.
  22. Was a perk for Sabres STHs for the last couple seasons, so I got used to watching them and decided to shell out the $64 bucks for this season. If you can get used to watching games via in house arena CCTV feeds, it’s not too bad.
  23. Before he stepped down from managing his hedge fund in 2017, Robert Mercer was the largest contributor to the GOP and the biggest investors in that fund were Russian oligarchs, also known as Putin’s lackeys. Huge investments in the state of Kentucky by Russian oligarchs still sit on Moscow Mitch’s desk as he decides which candidates to dole it out to. Properties flipped to Russian oligarchs for tens of millions of dollars more than their purchase prices. It goes on and on. The anti NATO, anti democracy rhetoric was bought and paid for by Putin and he’s getting his money’s worth. Opportunist or not, Ravasmarmy is toeing the Russian line. And it’s dangerous.
