Just to see if I have this straight, if Doan doesn't take the Sabres' offer he's an idiot and the Sabres' organization is a cesspool. Got it. GO SABRES!!!

Only the most blinded Vince Young hopefuls would have predicted any type of QB controversy. For better or worse, Fitz is the undisputed starter and he has been since two games into the 2010 season. Young wasn't going to change that no matter how well he played. GO BILLS!!!

That is a seriously f*cked up provision. I can perhaps understand being paid if injured or waived, but if a player decides on his own free will to retire he is the one who voids the deal. No way a team should be on the hook for that. GO SABRES!!!
-
And if he doesn't sign with us? GO SABRES!!!
-
Your meltdown in the event Doan chooses not to sign with the Sabres will be EPIC in its proportions. This posturing confirms those suspicions. Doan signing or not wouldn't compel me to leave this BB one way or the other. You'll just have to further suffer my presence. As to the bolded text, can you explain how anyone thinking that Doan may choose to play for some other team is just "excusing away more Sabres failure?" GO SABRES!!!

Actually, wjag, bullets are very inexpensive. They're not all created equally to be sure, but walk into Walmart or go online and see how much they are. You'll be surprised. Heck, lots of people make their own and save even more.

There are several things that can "screw this up." I get the impression you are girding for an unprecedented Regier-ripping frenzy in the event he doesn't sign with us. Saying there is "no reason Shane Doan can't or shouldn't be a Buffalo Sabre in 3 weeks" is just not looking at the situation realistically. It could be anything from A to Z when it comes to not playing in Buffalo. I'll start with A: he just doesn't want to play for the Sabres. Period. GO SABRES!!!

Doan it make my brown eyes Doan it make my brown eyes Doan it make my brown eyes... Blue GO SABRES!!!

The decaffeinated Eleven would know I was just making a joke about LR wanting to get rid of Drury and Briere. The worry is, have you lost your sense of humor just because we traded Roy? GO SABRES!!!
-
I'm really starting to worry about you, eleven. But thanks anyway. GO SABRES!!!
-
I think it means that Lindy is a xenophobe and couldn't WAIT to get rid of Drury and Briere. We need a team full of Albertans! GO SABRES!!!

Hey, we have the "Breast" thread below for talk like that. GO SABRES!!!

That is a Roger Ailes invention. He's also the guy that invented intentionally changing a disgraced Republican politician's party affiliation to (D) whenever news of that disgraced politician was scrolled at the bottom of the FoxNews screen. He's big on subliminal suggestion I guess. In addition to other things.

No doubt! Each name you mention has got to be in the discussion. They can all muck in the corners or go on an end to end rush as far as I'm concerned. Chops are chops. And then there's Andre Segovia.

A discussion about great guitarists? Best ever? Or one of the best? Cannot be qualified. Ever. We often confuse innovative with better. Jimi Hendrix was innovative as well as being a great guitarist, obviously. But IMHO, he was only the second best guitarist the Isley Brothers ever had. I could go on but for my money the greatest guitarist I ever saw was Andre Segovia. I still don't know how he was able to do what he did with those short, fat sausages he had for fingers. Amazing. And I think he would have played Hendrix far, far easier than Hendrix would have played Segovia.

The economy? What's wrong with the economy? The stock market, along with corporate profits, are nearly at an all time high. I'm being rhetorical.

On the contrary, it says you are willing to pay what it takes to land a player you highly value to get him to play in one of the league's lower-profile cities. Buffalo has to overpay in order to compete with other markets. That's a fact. And it says a lot when they publicly display their intent to do so. GO BILLS!!!

25 prosecutions in the 70s? 25? In elections 40 years ago? Rampant, I tell you. Rampant! Hmm. The term numerous strikes me. In the preceding paragraph he was able to provide a definate number, 25. Is numerous more or less than 25? I'm glad he was able to cite this case. Another example of a problem with absentee ballots. But the system got it right and Stinson's victory was overturned so voter fraud did nothing to secure a bogus outcome. I'm curious as to why it took the great politicians of PA 19 years implement changes to prevent this from happening again in a state senate election. I would think that Hans von Spakovsky, as a senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, would be able to provide a much more convincing case if he were able to find one. I was hoping he could cite an example of a presidential election in PA. But if that's all he can come up with as a Heritage Foundation fellow, there's just not much there, there. I wonder what the Heritage Foundation's position is on the state of Texas seeking to repeal the Voting Rights Act of 1965. From PA to Texas, from Ohio to Florida, there is a systematic effort being conducted to hinder as large a voting block as possible. There's a Woody Guthrie song in there somewhere.

Ques que c'est, "Godwin?"

Oh for crying out fu*king loud, WHEN DID VOTER FRAUD EVER COME CLOSE TO SWINGING THE STATE OF PA ONE WAY OR THE OTHER IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION? Clearly and without any proof to the contrary, this was a solution looking for a problem. That is if you think for one minute that the problem is and always has been voter fraud in PA. There was a problem that needed fixing in PA all right. And Turzai summed it up nicely.

Why yes. Yes I do.

I think this is far closer to the reality. GO SABRES!!!

And it's not like Israel hasn't launched strikes against the nuclear capabilities of other countries in the region like they did against Iraq in 1980. They may want our blessing to attack Iran but they don't need our help. Their military is highly capable. And there isn't another military in the region that poses any credible threat.

Can a three game stretch count as a "moment?" Because that three game stretch in Anaheim, San Jose, and Vancouver after the trade deadline was really fantastic. Particularly the GDTs with people sacrificing sleep to stay up late to watch three really intense games. Miller standing on his head, grit, and just plain old hangin' on at the end was great. GO SABRES!!!
