Bryson-Fitz worries the hell out of me. I hope the Q-C-P line gels and wreaks havoc for a decade.

I hope he does. But I predict he’s gonna leave the country before 2024.

He certainly imposes his will when he lowers his shoulder and attacks the front of the net. And he’s been doing that more frequently lately.

I appreciate the Quinn analytics as they dovetail with what I see on the ice. Any idea how Krebs’s analytics are looking lately? IIRC, his underlying numbers were also favorable when someone posted them here not too long ago. Is that still the case with Krebs?

Maybe it’s better that Granato ducked instead of offering up his tired platitudes about learning and growth opportunities even while losing. Maybe he’s actually pissed instead of confusing effort with results for a change. It’s great we have players that won’t quit, but it’s players that just aren’t good enough, regardless.

Yeah, that was a hard pill to swallow for sure, especially his Smolinski smug face. But I’m over it. On to the Bruins.

Not me. 7-0-7 is a helluva lot better than 7-7-0.

And the ugly?

Bryson is no better than a 7th D man. Oh, he has a few cute moments here and there, but he’s too easy to play against, regardless.

He is a first class masshole of the highest order, but I can’t blame him for tonight. It’s too bad somebody didn’t punch the Smolinski smug off his face on his first goal though. His second goal was a legit play. The others, meh; routine plays made by routine players every night, especially the lucky assist. Tage is better.

I agree we usually play hard. But I’m getting the impression that Granato and the players are confusing effort with results. This team is several good players away from simply contending with good teams on a consistent basis, let alone for a cup. I like DG, but I weary of his platitudes.

Good question. Haven’t seen one since the first couple games out west.

I need Granato to spare me the platitudes tonight. If he says this was a learning opportunity and a test to see where this team is, he needs to say this group failed miserably. Too many passengers tonight.

Oh, and Comrie isn’t the answer. He has his moments, but there are gaping holes in his game.

I’ll tip my hat on that goal by Johnny.

Not suggesting we are at that point. I’m just saying we are at the point where the best we can offer isn’t good enough.

Thompson is better than Eichel. 😂

We need more skill, better D, and better goaltending. Other than that though, we are golden and good to go.

The point remains. Bryson and Joker are not optimal. Could be worse, as we’ve been seeing for weeks now.

He has no chance on all those deflected goals off of Sabre players.

We can do better, imo. And we will need to. I’m suspect of Bryson and Joki.

Isn’t that like five deflected goals off of Buffalo players in the last three games? WTF?

I think we will still need one when they come back.

He does that every six games or so. But in the meantime…
