The victim’s lawyer’s statement is weird. The girl went through a traumatic event and they close the statement by saying all they wanted was an apology and a donation to some victim’s advocate? Not to mention, given the typos, it almost appears that the last sentence was copied and pasted. Araiza is probably a scumbag but there are a lot of unanswered questions.

You can’t fire someone in this state due to a criminal record, I’m assuming you can not fire someone for being accused of criminal activity. Not to mention the NFLPA will fight it as a matter of course

I’m going to try one more time to make this work. Taro and I have selected these four games as options. Sat, 1/7, Minnesota 7pm Sat, 3/4, Philly 12:30 Sat, 3/11, NYR 5:00 Sun, 3/19, Boston 1:00. If I get verbal commitment from at least 4 others, I will move ahead. I will need funds($100 per ticket) by mid September. If no one is interested, I will drop the matter.

The whole deal? It’s a standard contract. The entire negotiation would take 5 minutes. It’s pretty much, ok we have a spot, we know you’ve been offered X, this is what we will offer. Want it?

I believe they also offered Stasny a deal. I know it’s a lot of conjecture but I really don’t see a scenario where Casey and Krebs are together on this team long term unless as someone suggested, they see Tage as a winger but I haven’t heard anyone else say that.

This is pretty much my list with two honorable mentions. 1) Robert overtime goal in fog game 2) The Shoney 3 fight game against the Bruins but not because of the fights but because, for me, it was the moment I knew that the Sabres were good.

Asplund is as much a lock on this team as any other forward. When everyone is healthy, and assuming they acquire another center, the last forwards out will be two of Vinny, GIRGS, Krebs, Quinn and JJP

Obviously I’m not talking about most of the fan base but there is a vocal segment who believe that ROR left because of Jack and that everyone else hated him. You are right, he wasn’t the leader they needed, there are probably teammates that didn’t like him, blah blah blah. For me, it’s ancient history. Of course, I also look at it as year 2 of the Adams rebuild and not year whatever of the playoff drought.

It’s funny, start a thread about how Jack is universally despised and you are likely to get twenty pages. Post something about how KO likes him or how Jack, Sam and O’Reilly are friends and nary a word. No wonder he always ignores me. I’ve been calling him Kyle as he walks by.
