Not to pee in the “beating a good team” cheerios, but NJ has now lost 5 of there last 6 games (granted, their schedule has been brutal.) Let’s hope this win can push them into a little run. Even if they miss, it would be fun.

I’m older, so therefore not afraid of other actual humans. I have never had a problem with going to a bar that has all the packages (it’s not hard to find out) and asking the bartender to put the tv in front of me on the Sabres or Bills game. I had a little 12” tv in the late 90s and no cable. I don’t even think Center Ice was a thing yet. I used to drive almost an hour into NYC to meet friends at a bar in Manhattan to watch the games on ESPN (the ones that were actually on.) We are so spoiled with the amount of hockey we are able to consume now. Love it. If I miss one game?… meh.

Woke up coughing at 5:30 this morning. Haven’t really stopped since. My head cold/flu from last week turned into a chest cold/flu thing this week. Only positive is I’m getting a pretty good ab workout.

The team we are seeing now is the exact team we knew we were getting when the season started. We just didn’t know that it was going to be this difficult to watch it.

It's impossible to say this with any certainty. Maybe they would be even worse with a different staff. It's youth. It truly is spring. The crocuses are popping up, along with the fire everyone threads. All we need is a call from Duane in Amherst to truly usher in the end of the season.

5-2 Sabres.

I only have one goal for them, do not pay a guy who is not playing in the NHL anymore, just to reach the cap floor. Pay for actual, skating, players that make the team better. Only once they do this, will I find it worth my while to come up with other goals.
