Welp, could be worse. I think this game is there for the taking if they can stick to making simple plays to keep Minnesota off the puck.

I'm just pondering MODO's comments about Ullmark looking not himself. It almost looked like his skates weren't sharp enough and he was having trouble keeping up with Minnesota's speed because of it. Perhaps he'll look more settled in the 2nd.

That goal was a series of classic "heads up" plays. Okposo picking up Dahlin and McCabe seeing an opportunity to cycle down low are things that mentally tuned in players do. These penalties are a real problem though. Bogo not having a great outing so far.

Both goals were really nice shots. Really nice shots happen when players get all the time and space to shoot, and that's what we're giving them at the moment. I'll blame Linus but we have to score some goals first.

Linus isn't the problem here. Our guys are a little too casual right now and Minnesota is taking advantage of them.

That goal was entirely his fault for firing an outlet pass to a player that was clearly changing. He needed to just hold on for a second.

I don't know why, but I feel like something unusual is going to happen tonight.

It seems like the only viable pathway to breaking up the two party system. Give people the option to vote for who they like and who they don't like. "Anyone but ____" isn't a bad way to do things.
