I just read that there's a top NFL quarterback prospect with a surprisingly small throwing hand. (Hand is measured from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the pinkie finger on an outstretched hand.) He's at about 8.5 inches. Despite thinking I have small hands and despite always having had trouble throwing a football, I was surprised to measure my right hand at 9 inches, in the ballpark of many successful QBs over the years. Joshy? Ten, of course! What else?! What else?!

It was fine. The "three months later" angle is what always concerns me. Here we are — again — looking for signs of hope in February/March, thinking it will flow nicely into the fall. It never does. I'm far too lazy, but I bet there were plenty of "Dahlin is emerging" posts 1/2/3 years ago about this time. As Rick once said, "See you in September!"
