I took the tweet to be a major hint that he thinks the Sabres are adding a POHO, and possibly it's Lindy. Let's be rational. Micro vs macroanalysis. Some nice wins in garbage time doesn't obviate a need to add even more talent to the front office. A POHO doesn't have to mean Adams' plan is out the window.

Sorry, I don't see it (I also missed the slash behind the play). I'll be back next Friday. Give me some things to look for. I'm very basic and a touch anti-social. I like the Sabres Store. The atrium is nice. I get through the ticket gate and go up the escalator and am in my seat in four minutes flat. Same with egress. I sit in my seat and stare at the ice. I don't eat or drink. See also: doubled Depends. I'm not sure what I'm missing.

I let my blood, sweat and tears rain down on them. I am a 300 man. No issues. I think the seats are city of Buffalo recycling bins but that's OK. I noticed this year that the lighting is brighter. I hear no complaints about the ice. Srsly what more do we need? That said I don't usually visit concessions or waste troughs.

Fun with words. I like to exaggerate as much as the next fella, but the definition of dilapidated from the official dictionary of SabreSpace (MW): decayed, deteriorated, or fallen into partial ruin especially through neglect or misuse. That's a bit strong for the condition of the arena. Get some frat boys from local colleges, buy some kegs and let them do community service for one Saturday afternoon. Done!

This needs to stop. There wasn't anything wrong with the stadium and there isn't anything wrong with the arena that some modest owner funded improvements wouldn't fix.

In looking up seasons for the Best Finishes thread, I saw mention of Danny Gare beating the Islanders in Game 2 at the Aud in OT to give the Sabres a 2-0 lead in the series. I'll be damned if I remember that one. And... there are no videos of it anywhere to even jog my memory. I recall the spring of 75 like it was this morning (I'd say yesterday, but my memory ain't what it used to be). I went to my first games at the Aud in the spring of 78, including a playoff game, and my recollection of that Pens series in 79 is vivid. In between are special memories, but so many gaps, especially, for some reason, the playoffs of 76 and 77. (I don't remember Luce vs. St. Louis in OT, either.) For you, are there any empty spots?
