  1. This seems... average?
  2. This political talk is a hot potatoe.
  3. Is this based on anything? It doesn't seem to be but I'll still ask how you came to the conclusion that an NFL employee lied about an owner in a Zoom meeting with 40 other people. And FWIW didn't get sued.
  4. Why think the worst? Several players have defended the coach by saying it was merely an attempt to get to know the player. Here's a pic of my dog, my grams etc. New school offensive minded players coaches are the way to go.
  5. Birthplace of Danny Briere! Danny Briere!
  6. Term can be about uncertainty about the franchise's direction. A bigger pod than Doohickie. Didn't see that coming.
  7. The more I think about it, that statement full of double talk is the smoking gun. He said it and he knew there was no way he could flatly deny it.
  8. Let me guess. My opinions are gut feelings and yours are carefully reasoned logic. We're guessing as to why Rasmus isn't extended (ahem).
  9. Maybe he's not a pie in the sky fan boi. I would bet a lot of money I don't have that the true veterans and young veterans have used the occasion of a couple of beers to express their doubt and frustration. For professional and economic reasons not all of them want to be on a perpetual development team.
  10. In honor of Rick's love of crosswords, J Street E Street A Street etc. Of course a few streets will be need to be unnamed, so it makes sense on maps and stuff.
  11. My gut feeling is that the term issue is not a play for more money in the future. Maybe Dahlin questions the commitment to winning like I do. All he has to do is turn around and look at his goaltenders.
  12. @RochesterExpat even the reporter didn't corroborate the quote? That's the problem with relying on the NFL's anonymous source. We're only hearing one side of what was investigated. Hopefully the world of sports journalism is trying to track down the reporter. @RochesterExpat @RochesterExpat
  13. Come on, Roch, put some meat on the bone! You showed us what you're capable of and THIS is the sequel?!
  14. My addled brain continues to vex me. Of course it was Roch's post where I read all the quotes. FWIW the Times just let me read the whole thing without paying.
  15. No it's out there. I just read a breakdown with direct quotes. I have to find it again is all. Hold the phone, Thelma Lou.
  16. I've been as evenhanded as anyone in this thread. Show me where I've implied his "guilt." Anyway you missed the point or I wasn't clear. It's a fact that the second reporter mentioned the quote during the Zoom call. Some in desperation to defend TP have suggested even that didn't happen, which is ridiculous.
  17. I like that you're not even pretending to be fair and balanced anymore. It's also funny that it's only Trotter that YOU want to smear, not the person who voiced the alleged quote at the Zoom meeting. Part of the lawsuit is how the league handled the allegation and the impact on Trotter for making a complaint about it. Trotter is merely reporting a fact... his colleague's voicing of the quote. TP should have sued that dude if the quote was made up. He's certainly not suing Trotter.
  18. For those who don't know (like me) Jordan Palmer is not the QB coach of the Bills.
  19. Let's try some logic. If the league interviewed everyone at the dinner where Pegula is alleged to have made the comment, then the comment must have been mentioned during the NFL Media Zoom meeting to start the whole process. That much would seem to be not in doubt. Except you clearly have a doubt that it was even mentioned during the Zoom meeting. That seems odd and illogical. My question is why wasn't the original reporter sued? Why the one who is merely citing the alleged quote as part of a lawsuit? By the way what's missing from the TBN story citing a leagur source is what the investigation yielded about the reporter. What's his or her side of the story?
