Really? How can someone find that out without getting the Sabres' ticket sales data. I'd like to see a geographical breakdown.

Let's see: four points in four games. Extrapolate that over a 48-game "season" and the Sabres could end up with 48 points. That would be just "enough" to miss the playoffs yet again. Looks like we're in for another season of mediocrity at the F'N Center

Jacobs was one of the "hard-liner" owners. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't the entire reason for the lockout. I wouldn't mind having his money, though.

I only heard the highlights -- and not the entire game. But I liked what I heard. When RJ decides to hang it up, I wouldn't mind listening to Paul Hamilton as a replacement.

The writing is incredibly dull and dry, but that'smost likely because it is written by an academic. Otherwise, it's a very detailed look at a critical theater of a war that most of us Americans don't know much about.

There's an interesting documentary on the Woodstock music festival on the History Channel, if anyone is interested. I remember some of it.

No snow here in the DC area, but the temps are dropping enough to fire up the logs in the fireplace and it is finally starting to feel like hockey season. Let's hope the seasons isn't over for the Sabres (considering their performance do date).

Personally, I'm tired of Darcy and her fascination with soft, lazy players. But I think the real problem is Larry Quinn. He seems to have his thumb on the scale -- and nothing gets done unless it satisfies his financial demands.
