If the current constraints exist, it doesn’t matter to me if they try something new. The only thing we know is that the team is terrible under which the current constraints resist. I don’t know what he would’ve done differently and it doesn’t really matter. What is done is done.

He’s been terrible given the constraints he has to work with. Could another GM deliver better results under the same constraints? Maybe. Maybe not.

Are you an the accountability guy? If not then you should talk to the accountability guys. You know, the ones that want to punish those who are not producing and replace them with players who produce even less and then question why such a stupid move was made.

I think the team looks better overall. Unfortunately, it hasn’t made a statistical difference in the standings.

That’s why saying the coach doesn’t have it anymore because he can’t get low talent players to play way above their talent level is just not good. The players on the ice right now are most likely not good enough. After everything we’ve done for the past how many years, we would have hoped a first line would have emerged. It has, but those players play for other teams now.

Just weird. Maybe this team is just highish on potential and low on actual talent.

FYI, a year ago GIPHY told us that the free option was ending. Given that they want $9000 a year for a subscription I’m gonna politely pass on that. Don’t be surprised if you login one day with your email address 🙂 and find out it’s not there. i’ll try and see if there are any workarounds when the day comes, but in the meantime just know that we are probably on borrowed time here.

Honestly, it might be months until this happens. I have no way of predicting it. I just know we were finally officially warned. I figured I might as well just rip the Band-Aid off now.

Update 11/13/24: I have changed the settings so that you can login with your display name as you are now or with your email address. I just tried this myself and it works just fine. I did not have to do anything other than change my login name to my email address on file. No emails were required to be sent to my email address. Bottom line is that you can start using this now and it should transfer over seamlessly whenever the new software is released and installed here. ***************
