At 1st I thought it was too bad the east didn't win because Danny would have been the MVP. I figured Nash would get it. I was stunned when they called Danny's name. Brian had a decent outing. I think he played not to do anything stupid. I was happy that Luongo didn't show up Miller.

1. You can have a fast paced game w/ no hitting. The YS game was a joke and an embarrassment. They don't have to get hurt, but I skate faster out there... If it is going to be that bad, don't televise it. 2. The camera work was effing terrible. What is the purpose of showing a net cam on the accuracy skill? The production people are complete morons. 3. Ryan was abused on that last shootout series. yuck. 4. No way Ovechkin skated a 15 second time...

Friggin' TiVo... Tried to record a Buffalo basketball game on a channel I don't even get... I missed the 1st 10 minutes (the first of the season for me) and then it only recorded to the end of the 2:30 time slot. It doesn't matter how fast you skate if you make mistakes while doing it and you fail to put the puck in the net. On the whole, we outplayed them, but their breaks went in and ours didn't. That game could have been a blow out either way depending how the rubber bounced.

FWIW, the color guy did say he thought the one breakaway in the 3r period was clean poke by Miller and stick on stick contact by the Sabre. Sorry, don't remember the names, but there was a lot of booing going on.

are you accepting cookies? try clearing your cache. Maybe you are pulling up a cached page instead of a fresh one?

Sadly, Drury didn't back check for crap on that goal. He just lazily watched as he strolled back. If he was skating that goal never goes in.

it's not really a fair stat since every game ends in a winner now.

As AD pointed out, our inability to win faceoffs is extremely problematic and we let up big time the lat two minutes. Carolina is still a good team that is going to force errors and create chances. But on the whole, I thought we took the play to them and outplayed them most of the night. Who is this Thomas Vanek guy? We could have used him last spring.

Maybe I am easily pleased, but I don't know what the complaints are about. The final 5-3 was pisspoor, but beyond that we out hit, out skated, and out hustled these guys all game. They were only in it because of 2 freak goals. I am very happy with the way we played for the vast majority of the night.

Breaking out a new forum is easy enough, I just don't know if we have the traffic that will draw the eyeballs there right now. I'm just confused about what would be the focus of this board. Are you thinking a "meet and greet", a "roll call", or something else.

Ok, I had to manually record CI tonight because my TiVo picked up 636 which I don't get. The fuggin' thing stopped after 30 minutes!!! I watched through the 2nd - paused and came back to NOTHING!!! :angry: :angry: :angry: Man, I am pissed.
