  1. iOS only. I’d chew on PA’s tightey-whiteys before I made an Android app.
  2. Actually, given their intolerance of the snow - calling them "snowflakes" makes them sound tougher than they really are.
  3. Odd that you would forget this all started under Darcy and his infamous "suffering" statement...
  4. Crosby had whiplash and irritated his occipital nerves. I know this because my daughter had two head injuries last year and we are going through the same thing. It's been 9 months and she still has daily headaches caused by these nerves being compressed at the base of her skull. The steroids that helped Crosby get back on the ice after the proper diagnosis, only partially helped her.
  5. I watched the whole series. It’s called Lost.
  6. The easiest way to figure that out would be to compare the top two lines with winning teams and see if the production is comparable. Then look at the bottom two lines and do the same thing. Most don't seem to be carrying their weight.
  7. Understood. I'm just saying he battles Rob and that guy Joe (BuffaloWins) routinely. He may be tired of the blogger scene.
  8. No idea what happened there. Rob Quinn gets under his skin, so he may have lashed out on a hot-button topic for him. This isn't his usual personality, so I'm not bothered. The others are a different story.
  9. If anyone would care to meet John, he shows up at the Two Bills drive season opener tailgate every year. He's a good guy, although I didn't really understand this latest back and forth. I expected that from MH or perhaps TG.
  10. Pat LaFontaine seems to have dodged the ire of the fanbase... He hand picked GMTM for that job - did he not?
  11. Patrick Kane is an awful comparison. He has 810 points in 803 games and is (was?) truly elite. Evander only compares to him when the roster is sorted by last name.
  12. 3 empty net goals in one game? Weird! j/k
  13. Just stuff from the 1st 7 pages. I stopped looking after that. You may assert that "Botterill was fleeced" is an opinion. I read such comments as more statements of facts. None of the surrounding language qualifies those statements. Beingly crushingly disappointed in the return is not the same thing as stating Botterill was fleeced/had.
  14. So, this depends on the poster and the argument. With regards to Kane's return, many have stated as fact that Botterill made a bad trade and that better trades were there to be made. This is then used as a basis to criticize JB and assert that he may not be fit to be a GM. This isn't really a offering a theory - it is a straw man argument, which is very different.
  15. http://www.wgr550.com/media/audio-channel/2-26-schopp-and-bulldog-hour-4 Go to the 7:00 minute mark to hear Hamilton's remarks. At 11:50 it is actually Bulldog who tries to connect the dots between Boterrill's PC preparation remarks (and Hamilton's previous remarks) and Kane.
  16. On a rental? Sure. Paul Hamilton tried to make the point that Botterill sent a message to the fans when he mentioned player preparation as being very important to the organization. He then went on to say how Kane is last one on and first one off the ice, as well as spending no extra time at the rink.
  17. and yet I would still tune in to listen to him on GR if he was on right now.
  18. We just started season 4. Season 3 didn't start well, but I think the last couple of episodes saved it. We've liked it so far.
  19. IMHO, this isn’t a bad look for Botterill as much as it is a horrible look for Evander Kane. He is the asset. He is the one no one would pay anything for.
  20. Why would they ignore tipped balls? Seems relevant unless they say that it has too much luck involved.
  21. I didn't pay any attention to how Vegas built their team in one year. Are there lessons to be learned there?
  22. Hartman is an RFA. Hanzal did get return quite a bit for a 30 yr old center.
  23. Clearly it still happens, but these past few years have been fairly dry league wide. There really isn't an expectation that anything WILL be done any more. It's better to just cross your fingers and hope the right situation presents itself, however unlikely it appears these days.
  24. 0 is also less than 4. I'm sure of it.
  25. One he has control over. The other he doesn't.
