  1. It’s not your problem.
  2. They are in Canada. It’s Jacque.
  3. Praise their goalie for the most part but have given us a lot of credit along the way.
  4. Yeah, but Eichel didn’t fight once that period. Where is the grit?
  5. Moral of the story - a 6th round pick doesn't get you a Jeff Skinner by itself, but it can solidify the deal that does.
  6. Or vice versa.
  7. A 6th is not "nothing". It is small value currency, but value nonetheless. These types of low value picks are exchanged all the time when more impactful deals are made.
  8. I don't speak for jame, but the strusture is very XGMTM-like. Prospect and a 1st rounder to get better today. Now, that isn't atypical, but he tried to get better players in here faster and thus did this alot and it didn't pan out all that well.
  9. Time for a new topic?
  10. I wonder if Lemieux is still as cocky as he was back at the draft?
  11. I said that because I made the same mistake reading your post.
  12. He unfortunately referred to Paul Hamilton as PH.
  13. Darcy said it best... paraphrasing: Draft picks are the currency of the modern NHL. I think fans should pull back on always attributing those picks to a potential player and just accept that it is "money" first and a player second.
  14. Hate the win/loss debate.
  15. If he loves San Diego then he’s going to love Buffalo.
  16. I guess it’s just my pessimistic nature that there are millions of high school kids looking for scholarships and they all go to google and search for the same thing. How on gods green earth am I going to find something that few have applied to? I mean we would love free money, but we do have money saved so it’s not critical.

  18. I’m comfortable with the process, but I’m an obsessive compulsive information gather. Others may have done this better, so I’m always on the lookout for a better way or a new way to look at things.
  19. How was Maryland not an option but private school was? We did our best to plan for no debt or at the very least a small amount of deliberate debt to establish credit. We live in Maryland.
  20. He doesn’t watch sports at all. He’s an esports gamer. Plays soccer. Watches nothing. Said a basketball team would be nice to cheer for, but sports is worth about a pepperoni pizza to him. Only waiting on William and Mary, but I doubt he is really that interested.
  21. For what it’s worth, these notions of trap games, let downs, momentum, etc... has proven to be not real.
  22. He looked at GT and Emory. He didn’t have the GPA for GT and Emory is a peer of UR, so we figured UR was the more likely option for him. (I’m an active alum). We are a full pay family. My expectation is that there probably isn’t much room to haggle on the merit side. (He’s more of a 75-80% student at these schools intentionally. He not an upper 5 percenter academically at these places). You have in one in Rochester now? What specifically do you mean about shopping around and do you think this is me and/or merit dependent?
