As a courtesy to the other board members, please use more descriptive topic titles. A single name if far too vague to post as a title and provides little insight into what specifically the post is talking about. The topic starter can edit the topic title line to make it more appropriate.
Thank you.
Please put more effort into the subject lines.

This is in the process of being fixed. It should be done within a matter of minutes.

Update 2: Move complete.
Update 1: Things didn’t go as planned last week. The new server is up and running, but there was an ordering snafu. Hopefully things will be completed on Monday.
We are switching servers, since our OS has reached its EOL. This will happen the next couple days, probably tomorrow. It will also happen during the afternoon most likely.
I assume I will put things in read only mode once migration starts. My expectation is that when the move is completed the board will be open for posting.
After that, I will fix things as needed. Thank you for your patience.

The Sabres played 10 games since the losing streak. It doesn't feel like it after the COL and SEA blown games but they are 6-3-1. That's .650. That page gets the Sabres to 95 points. That peace gets then to 89 points. Is that enough?

I’ve been looking at the rule. It doesn’t actually say which player gets it. The wording is “the team is awarded a goal”. I’d imagine it’s covered somewhere else that I haven’t looked.
I bet that is because they don't need to clarify the rule regarding who gets it. Last person who touches it. Thompson goal is my ruling.

The espn and NHL aps have that last goal credited to Thompson right now with assists. I’d love to know where they get the data from because I’ve seen a lot of oddities throughout the year.
Gretzky mentioned this. Thompson was the last person to shoot the puck. I just came in here to ask where in the rulebook does it say McLeod would be credited with that goal.

What happened in the OT was almost entirely, not mental. IMO they aren't fragile. They played one of the best teams and had them. To me they got overwhelmed physically at the end.
Tage had firm control the puck, held onto too long and got stripped for a breakaway. The defenseman, power, is below him and just watches him struggle along the boards. How was this being physically overwhelmed? Seemed like 2️⃣ poor decisions to me.

Per NHL.com, we won 55% of face-offs. But, we lost the last 6-8 in a row. Face-offs matter when they matter. We won none when they mattered.
No, Cozens won one that was sent down the ice immediately for icing.

How does power sit and watch Thompson battle along the boards while he is below him?

Nope. It’s right side up. You’re just seeing it from player’s perspective.
Sorry. I was tired.

Bovine, porcine and caprine originating from Canada is generally enterable as long as it's less than 50 pounds. Poultry must be thoroughly cooked. Fresh or chilled poultry is currently prohibited in passenger baggage due to resurgence of HPAI cases in multiple Canadian provinces. Unless you're planning on bringing back smoked poultry, you should be good to go.
You seem oddly knowledgeable about all of this. 😂

I am aware of their defensive style right now. As you say, in the past playoffs, when they had a higher ranked defense they got torched. Okay, so should that make me feel MORE at ease about the current defense which relies on luck and hope? It doesn't.
They don’t have a lot of talent. This was a rebuilding year. It is what it is. At 12–3 we are playing with house money. Fingers crossed that Josh remains superhuman and the ball bounces our way.

They also do a terrible job of passing the puck to players so that they can actually do something with it once they get it...too often it's to the wrong side or a little behind them or in their skates, so instead of actually being able to do something with it quickly, it takes them a second or two to gather the puck properly and by the time they do that, the defender is on top of them.
That’s pretty much exactly what I said.

I totally agree. The "hate" I refer to is just how the Sabres look like they are fighting the puck, it never goes where or does what they need to get any momentum. This is the nut of their issues. But they did better earlier this year, so what changed? Have teams figured out how to play us and we have no answer?
But that last sentence still misses my point. I’m trying to figure out what these guys would look like if nobody else was on the ice. we’re fumbling every puck in every pass and there’s no pressure.
The reason why every team pressures us is because of our poor puck handling skills.
The only one they don’t really go after, or at least they are unsuccessful trying, is Dahlin and that’s because he has elite skill.

Eh. I figured it was assumed that would be with the Sabres and not traded to a much better team after one year. 🤷
