I was kind of surprised the Bruins gave up on him since they really like the hard working grit guys and he's definitely in that mold. I'm not sure he has NHL skill but you never know. I actually play at the seniors center once in a while. I'm 66 and I'm the youngest guy there, but some of them know how to play. It's actually quite fun. The 90 year olds are actually quite inspirational.

Things a great story. Adams wouldn’t have to do this type of stuff if he drafted players of this ilk. Every pick in rounds 4-7 should be gritty, aggressive, 200 ft players.

Hard to be enamored with anyone associated with this current iteration. Will there be alumni nights at Key Bank for the lovable losers from the 2011-2012 season or any other campaign during the last 15 years? That said, I do worry that Kevyn would get absolutely fleeced on any trade of any player on this roster.

It will be interesting to see if McD comes up with a bracketing scheme to help Taron or concedes that Diggs will get his targets and yardage and make it a point that nobody else beats us. While Diggs caught 10 for 146 the first game, it took three Buffalo turnovers and a FG with under 29 seconds left to beat us. It’s gonna be interesting.
