  1. Past hour
  2. My hatred of Cindy brings out my inner middle schooler.
  3. How many King Richard jokes do you know? III. The answer is III.
  4. It’s 2025. I realize emasculating players is an age old tradition but calling a guy with an already feminine name an alternative feminine name seems a little dim not to mention have a little respect for women? Rich coming from king dick joke but women are sacred creatures with the ability to replicate life. Calling a dude a woman’s name should be a compliment.
  5. We've got the bangers to do it now. Go get 'im, Tyson!
  6. They have a real problem historically doing that. It sounds great, until it isn’t.
  7. McJesus is a better player and the Sabres routinely neutralize him. Do the same to Cindy.
  8. I wish it were only in our heads. The facts of the Crosby era vs the Sabres and Sabres players in matches outside of the NHL (see “The Golden Goal” Crosby snipes Miller for Gold event) are very telling. The 1st Winter Classic, so many regular season games it’s jaw dropping….etc, etc. As I said, I wish it were merely bad dreams.
  9. I like Garland, but he's Benson-lite. His career high is 52 points (he's on pace for 46 this season). Agreed: I don't like $6M over the next 4 years -- I want that money to go to Benson instead. The other issue with Garland is that when I say Benson-lite I mean lighter-than-Benson. Benson can still fill out and get man-strong. Garland is 29 years old, 5-10, and only 165#.
  10. Mashed Whipped Let's Go Buff-a-lo!!! Thanksgiving grateful cheers to the SS crew!
  11. That's right. Treat Cindy and Geno like they did McJesus and Draisaitl. Beat 'em up. Thug 'em.
  12. He earned that right.
  13. FIFY Cindy is living rent free in your heads.
  14. Outta the way, Pengiuns. The Sabres are coming through! So that's Lindy's way: It's your net until you lose. Do you know the way?
  15. To me its only Garland or Sherwood, Garland is a Doan/Benson type but his contract jumps to 6 million per year next year. He is fiesty and plays hard. Sherwood would be a big add, but he is a rental and rumors are he wants 6 million per season on his next contract. I dont want to be the team to pay him that contract, it has regret written all over it. Much like the Dakota Joshua contract. But id ride the wave of his UFA season, I just feel there is a desperate GM out there that would give a first rounder for him....and I dont want that to be us. I still think the move could be Östlund/Kulich/Krebs + for Garland. One of those deals would be really good. We just would be in a bit of a tight Cap Crunch moving forward, and would maybe require us to move out a contract.
  16. Kinda like the Town of Tonawanda, the City of Tonawanda, and the City of North Tonawanda.
  17. The rule of thumb: If it's good, It's Jarmo.
  18. Thanks for restoring my faith in Jack's awfulness.
  19. ...maybe that was just age 18-37 Crosby. But now he's 38. Thirty-eight! He's probably got grandkids coming over for Thanksgiving tomorrow and is worried about getting the turkey out of the brine and pre-baking the pies. Tell Kozak that Sid is McDavid and sic him on that line.
  20. Where's the challenge in that?
  21. Quinn Hughes? Sure, sign me up. But it's impractical unless it's with an extension that won't happen. The only other interesting one is what Baker-Fairburn postulated -- toss them a 2nd round pick (and something? a 5th?) for Sherwood as a rental because he wants way too much money for his age/speed when he gets to UFA this season. But he's hot, healthy, and hitting now. It allows you to add strength/aggression/hard to play against, waive Dunne back to where he really belongs, and Östlund goes down when the centers return.
  22. Today
  23. Just the kind of game for Crosby to net 2 in the 3rd period for a 4-3 Pens win.
  24. Agree. Some of the players they have that are available to me seem like soft passenger types.
  25. We have to get some road wins to stay in the race.
