But from our perspective, if we traded Thompson today for a 5th round pick and the pick becomes Ovechkin in 6 years it’s not a good trade. This is an extreme example but Tage becoming good will never make torpedoing that team just as Eichel was coming off his ELC retroactively good. It will always be bad. D Brandon Hickey played parts of 2 seasons in Rochester and is still in the AHL today with Henderson. RW Mike Sislo never played for Rochester and retired in 2020.
