Yup. But at least the've killed off 1/2 of this one without giving up any serious chances. (And as he says that Georgiev has to make a nice blocker save.) 2 or 3 shots on the PP for the Wings. Only 1 that was dangerous. Will take that on the kill.

Why does the video graphic keep showing that Östlund has a goal but Tuch and Zucker have 0. Zucker also has 0 assists. Know what else he and Tuch have 0 of - TOI. They are NOT dressed tonight you rubes. For those that can actually watch this (or at least the "stream continues shortly" graphic they show whenever there is a stoppage), Wayne Gretzky is also scoreless as is Jim Lorentz and shockingly Josh Allen hasn't gotten on the board yet, though he's due.

He misplayed the puck again. And while Power did cough up the shortie, Georgiev acted like he was going to cover up the puck, only to release it to Power at the last second. No doubt caught him off guard.

They've ALWAYS had the deferments reflect the particular year the money is earned's NPV during the Salary Cap era. Which is why when a player actually made use of that benefit this past year it was silly that people were going nuts about there being cap circumvention. There was no such thing happening.

The league is pushing kids into the line ups sooner than they used to, that is true. I'd argue against Dahlin being pretty good right off the bat but it's not worth getting into. The point overall is they learn bad habits and lack the physical size and muscle to learn to play the right way. Risto is actually the perfect example. A guy who got messed up and didn't know who or what he was. Cozens can still be fixed but he has to unlearn and relearn. He might, he might not. My basic argument would be if your line doesn't have a veteran on it (preferably two) it's a bad idea and Cozens-Quinn-Peterka was a bad idea. Rookie D not paired with a veteran also a mistake. You'll have a hard time convincing me otherwise.
