  1. Past hour
  2. Started this thread because there are signs. Agree it's a very tough call.
  3. Exactly. I wasn't expecting much and it turns out it was less than that. I'm not surprised. The organization is rudderless. Hello 15 years.
  4. Yes it is tough, if he becomes the next in a line of guys to move on and find there way somewhere else it will sting so bad....but it is possible that maybe, just maybe we may be able to see high here
  5. Hmmmm so another year with minor band-aids coming up
  6. Should note also Adams very defiantly said the rumors out there were all nonsense before he mentioned Samuelsson specifically
  7. It's very possible. His 2nd assist numbers are also something to note. He got .8a1 and had 1.0a2 per 60min. Zach Benson had the same a1 but only had .2a2 I'm not convinced that Peterka is a 30g, 50a player. Idk, it's a tough call because you have to be right.
  8. LOL Vegas can’t help themselves. They just have to make the big splash everytime and end up sending out the shiny new toy they just acquired. swapping Hertl for Marner doesn’t help them that much.
  9. Jarmo will be working remotely. He didn’t deny the JJP trade rumor, so you can assume a trade was asked for.
  10. I don’t agree with “big time” because the shooting percentage isn’t some bonkers number, but with JJP’s defense being bad AND to expect some 5 on 5 scoring regression…is it possible we would be selling high?? Not even saying I buy this, but worth considering.
  11. I'll find the video but we can put all the nonsense in here. highlights: Non answer on Peterka asking out They've never considered buying out Samuelsson Official said all assistants are back Tuch is a priority 9 is in play but also they might use it Idk, I probably missed something
  12. He definitely asked for a trade or some ultimatum. Kevyn could easily say “No”, but he can’t say “Yes”. He’d automatically lose leverage. My guess is other GMs already know this. Hence, them being “difficult” to deal with.
  13. “Hubris” for my money has been identified as their chief flaw long ago. We don’t need a mere playoff team. We are beyond that. Cup contender only for us. The long road. And we know how to do it: not you, the fan, not you, the league recommended executive me. Terry. I didn’t get rich by accident
  14. i wish one of us had thought to create a separate thread for that press conference. the board's feedback is sprinkled in a few different threads.
  15. Today
  16. Pridefully stubborn - much more detrimental than outright idiocy
  17. Or they think they'll be worse next year.
  18. I think it’s exactly what’s happening and you are bang on
  19. I just caught up watching the presser. A lot of bizarre answers, especially regarding the Asst. Coaches. Who was the media member who called out "running things back" after a 79pt season?
  20. Not saying Sabres fans shouldn’t express how they feel; not saying that at all. But in a broader more meta sense, I don’t buy the idea that torches and pitchforks are necessary as a catalyst for change, or even the best tool as a catalyst for change. Often they result in the person on the other end hunkering down behind walls, leaning into the people and conclusions that “feel right” to them and dismissing potentially useful input because of the source.
  21. It really doesn’t get anymore surreal then Adams honestly thinking we feel bad because there is misinformation about the moves the team might be thinking about. No Kevyn, we feel bad because you and the owner have destroyed a franchise and proven time after time after time that you simply don’t get it. You don’t get how the build a successful team, you don’t get that the fans are pissed off about missing the playoffs for 14 straight years and you don’t even have the wherewithal to change the coaching staff because they are all under contract yet you repeatedly stand and lie through your teeth that there are absolutely no financial restrictions. No Kevyn, I’m not mad because a report said that Muel might be bought out. I’m mad about a cheap ass owner who doesn’t know half of what he thinks he does would keep an incompetent fool like you in charge because you listen to his ideas which never ever work out. But we get it, the answer is in the room and the things Terry said in that Montreal meeting were very impressive.🙄🤮
  22. Same for all the national guys and local beat alike. This front office does not leak anything.
  23. It’s a very interesting and somehow underplayed dynamic for me. We of course have our side well covered but I do believe the conflict of interest is quite severe BOTH ways. How the org may, or may not act is surely affected by this feature. It’s so hard to know exactly how but there’s a level of fascination to it in its uniqueness, in spite of the outright anger in triggers in me due to my loyalty to the crest and the fans Because, Terry and Kevyn don’t represent the Crest. They aren’t buffalo sabres Adams never WOULD claim the drought. The fans situation isn’t his fault. he just feels bad FOR us
  24. Every time I hear any of our staff talking I just picture them in full clown outfits. I’ve never seen failure on this scale rewarded all because the GM kisses our owners ass. I will never pay a single cent to this organization until they’re a cup contender. So I won’t have to piss my money away for a very long time!
