He appears to be the real deal. He's only scored 4 goals. How many did Foligno have? I'm sure Malkin will pass that, but until he plays at least a full season, he's not better than Foligno. There's more to being "great" than being pretty ... Foligno was a well-rounded player who did it for a long career .. .Malikin could get hit by a bus tomorrow. I would give #31 to Billy Smith... Shanahan better than Keon? I MIGHT give them that one, but I'd have to think about it for a while. That is an understatement. Phil Esposito said one time (if not more) on Home Ice that SI knows nothing about hockey. Given a legend making a statement like that, I wouldn't give it a second thought to question his judgment. He's right on. Here's a :bag: to SI.
