I predicted it as soon as he missed the 2nd period against the Oilers. I figured they would use that move to buy some time.

This is a good way to temporarily alleviate the issues created by carrying 3 goalies on the roster.  It buys the team time to further assess Lyon and UPL without having to relinquish Ellis' rights.   Also, Ellis may have a concussion preventing him from playing professional hockey for a while

I hope Ellis is OK. I think he deserves more games, he could be a long term option, more than Lyon. We are still unsure of what Ellis is capable of.

I am not sure he did it... way too smart... I am wondering if he had his authority taken away and it is Lindy that demanded this.  I think if it was Kevyn's choice he would have brought up Levi and made it a 4 some
