Putin got what he wanted a pushover president. Yep. Trump got owned in another propaganda win for Putin as evidenced by the news today that Trump has moved off his calls for a ceasefire. Summits like this are measured by an important metric: what did our president gain for the American people? Nothing. 1

Putin got what he wanted a pushover president. What I would like to see are those troops telling Trump to stuff it. It is indeed a sad day and absolutely disgusting that a man who should be arrested the moment he leaves Russia is not only allowed into the United States but then has American military bowing to him to roll out a red carpet. I have to wonder just what all those red state, military supporting people feel about these particular actions. 1
Hank Posted Sunday at 07:36 PM Report Posted Sunday at 07:36 PM It seems the tone of this thread is different than president Zelenskyy. We had a long and substantive conversation with @POTUS We started with one-on-one talks before inviting European leaders to join us. This call lasted for more than an hour and a half, including about an hour of our bilateral conversation with President Trump. Ukraine reaffirms its readiness to work with maximum effort to achieve peace. President Trump informed about his meeting with the Russian leader and the main points of their discussion. It is important that America’s strength has an impact on the development of the situation. We support President Trump’s proposal for a trilateral meeting between Ukraine, the USA, and Russia. Ukraine emphasizes that key issues can be discussed at the level of leaders, and a trilateral format is suitable for this. On Monday, I will meet with President Trump in Washington, D.C., to discuss all of the details regarding ending the killing and the war. I am grateful for the invitation. It is important that Europeans are involved at every stage to ensure reliable security guarantees together with America. We also discussed positive signals from the American side regarding participation in guaranteeing Ukraine’s security. We continue to coordinate our positions with all partners. I thank everyone who is helping.

Hank Posted Monday at 11:47 PM Report Posted Monday at 11:47 PM Reporting is that Trump will host a sit down with Putin and Zelenskyy, hopefully a peace treaty will soon follow. 1
Demoted Posted Tuesday at 08:11 PM Report Posted Tuesday at 08:11 PM Whatever Putin wants Trump wll try to give it to him. Putin wanted his Sanctions lifted, Trump did it. Putin wanted to paint Zelenskyy as an evil person, Trump did it. Putin didnt want a ceasefire, Trump allowed it. 1 1

The American president, reflecting his comments after meeting in Alaska with Russian President Vladimir Putin: “I think he wants to make a deal for me, you understand, as crazy as it sounds.”

It isn’t so much the who as it is the what, but Putin and the Russian army and their entire propaganda campaign for starters. That’s our flag for our military to fly and it has no business being flown by another military; especially by a dictator-led, corrupt, adversarial country like Russia.

It also makes sense that the Russians would do it, or even fake that they are doing it and still post it. It's psychological warfare. I already don't like Putin and his actions.. this isn't changing anything for me though. It's exactly the kind of actions I would expect. 4 hours ago, Demoted said: Welcome to Putins America, his little Trump puppet. @Hank you ever want to add anything real to the conversation you are more than welcome to, or just keep getting as you say "triggered" Why are you calling out Hank here? I'm slowly coming to the realization the only way this invasion will end is if we commit troops on the ground over there. If it comes to that I hope it's a NATO effort.
