Skinner playing in the finals IS something a lot of people predicated once we let him loose and he signed with the Oilers. He has to be pumped. 1 Quote

Jorcus Posted yesterday at 01:35 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:35 AM Watching Jeff Skinner drift around the D zone while his team was under assault looked familiar. 1 2 Quote

Even before that goal I was thinking the Stars are having to expend SO much energy just to make up the two goal deficit. Against a team like the Oilers that makes you very susceptible to odd man rushes against. And here we are. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM McDavid wasn’t even floating defensively looking for an easy outlet. He’s just faster to pivot and take off than anyone else. Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted yesterday at 01:43 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:43 AM Just So talented that McDavid eh? Quote
Jorcus Posted yesterday at 01:55 AM Report Posted yesterday at 01:55 AM This is what Dallas gets for benching Lybushkin. The ex Sabre bump is gone. Quote

Forecheck Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago The loss of Hyman does hurt Edmonton but that will now result in more playing time for Perry and Skinner. I’d make the Panthers a slight favorite but now the Oilers have the experience and know what it’ll take to beat Florida and win it all. I wouldn’t bet money on this final either way. Gonna be tight and could go either way. 2 Quote
Archie Lee Posted 23 hours ago Report Posted 23 hours ago In 2021 the Panthers and Oilers both lost in round one. Since then, they have been the best playoff teams in the NHL. The Panthers have won 11 of 13 playoff series, going 45-27. The Oilers have won 9 of 12 playoff series, going 41-28. I don't think there is a lot to choose between the two teams. Both play excellent D. The Panthers maybe have a truculence edge, but the Oilers are not short in that area (Perry, Kane, Frederic, Nurse). The stars on these teams won't be intimidated. Bobrovsky probably gives the Panthers the edge in goal. And then there is McDavid. Should be great. 1 Quote
