Now that Clode is gone, we can't go firing Dan for some schlub like Lindy (love ya, Lindy) It needs to be the right guy, and we need to know it's the right guy. I don't want to spend another 3.5 years with the wrong guy, as opposed to some number less than that with Dan waiting for the right guy. IDK who the right guy is. In this case it is less about Buffalo and more the fact you can stick it to your former employer immediately. If you are Julien, what is not to love about that opportunity? You do know that Montreal gave Julien walking papaers first, right after the last time they hired then fired Therrien and before he ended up in Boston..... This already happened in 2003 when then head coach Therrien was fired by the Cnadians and they hired Julien, only to fire him 3 years later, he then went on to coach the Bruins before returning to take over for Therrien (for the second time....)
