The only way that happens is if they get Reimer to stand on his head for an entire season. The .950 is not something he can maintain for long. Basically the defensive philosophy is to smother anyone with the puck. When someone receives a pass, defenders are taught to skate directly at him. When he releases the puck and tries to get by, hold him up in a manner that is just below the threshold to draw a penalty. The end-result is boring, uber-defensive hockey.
