Johnny DangerFace
The Sabres finish 22nd in the NHL but convert their 2.7% chance at a lottery win into Connor McDavid. Within 90 minutes, an asteroid collides with the earth and wipes out all life. So everyone is dead and we never even got a chance to use our other draft picks. :( oh please get a grip. The asteroid would just hit our prospects (each and everyone one of them). Life wouldn't end, that's to easy.

SABRES 0311
So if the Sabres do well enough not to get the second or third pick, what does it take to pursuade another team to give it to us. Sorry I meant first or second pick.

More than we'd be willing to give up. If I had the #2 pick and the Sabres were calling I'd demand Reinhart, Girgensons, Ristolainen or Zadarov, and their #1 pick. Anything less and I'd hang up the phone immediately.

Sorry I meant first or second pick. Kidnapping one of the other owner's family members and mailing them a finger every day until a trade is made. This plus all 3 firsts, Myers and Ennis. That might get it done.
