Very cool. Thanks for posting. A couple of questions/comments:

 

1. Few players wearing helmets (and Daley wearing nothing, WTF was he thinking), and no hard plastic shoulder pads or elbow pads. Also, no forearm "shivers," no elbows to heads, no "jump-in" checks. Probably not a coincidence.

 

2. I'm pretty sure that Canada had color TV by 1970, although Canada may have misspelled it "colour." So what gives?

 

3. Was that the last time the Leaves beat the Sabres in a regular season game until last week? (For you, Millbank.)
