[OT] Jason Alexander steals money!

Anyone else fall into the trap of watching "Meteor" the last two Sunday nights? It was so bad, I couldn't stop watching. "George" was horrible, and I cheered when he died. Whatever he got paid for mailing this role in, it was that much too much. He should give it to charity. He was like an old man trying to send back soup in a deli.

I saw the commercials and thought it might make for an interesting made for TV miniseries. I want to sue NBC for those two hours of my life back. I didn't watch the conclusion. I wasn't expecting a whole lot but I knew I was done when they started shooting smaller meteors out of the sky with soldiers on rooftops with shoulder mounted missle launchers. I understand you need to cut them some slack on bad science, but it was like they didn't even try. I also liked how Christoper Lloyd was listed in the guide description as the first name in the stars list, only that they killed him off about 20 minutes in... when he got hit by a van looking at the sky. Terrible...

And yes Jason Alexander is obviously VERY hard up for work these days.

LOL. I find it so so funny that a film could have as its premise -- after 9-11 and Katrina -- that the government in a matter of mere hours will mobilize and start shooting down meteors.

It was monumentally bad. The only POSSIBLY redeeming moment was when the three hot chicks meet up on the highway, heading for shelter 50 miles away, and the one chick says she knows a place nearby where they can hang out. And it has a hot tub! The chicks all give each other a look.

These are the only four things in which I can say I've seen JA "act." He was just awful in the Criminal Minds and ST: Voyager episodes, and was only mildly amusing in Shallow Hal.
