I for one will be happy if the Sabres can move Connolly! Did anyone notice the other night in Philly when they scored on the 2 on 1 , if Timmy ( as Ruff calls him) would have skated a little harder or lunged or dove......he probably stops that Goal and we might get a point! No, instead he coasted and tried to hook the man instead of put a body on him....Short handed goal! This guy is the Tin Man! He is a perfect example of how stats do not always equate to a better fit. All I know is when he was injected into the lineup early this season, we went on a losing streak and got caught in our own zone often and forever! Now he is back and the same play has followed! Tonight at the game, I hope a 6 year old stumbles and falls on him on his way into the arena and puts him on the IR for the rest of the year! The other thing that kills me is people are making arguments for resigning this life size Vaginia! How about this, Timmy sign with the Sabres for 2 year 1 million each as a power play specialist! I mean did you not get paid while you missed about the equivalent of 3 seasons! Buffalo is a working class community and it is shame this man wears our sweater!
