    I agree...maybe the veteran players brought in realize that Nolan's "system" of hard work doesn't cut it without an actual plan of how to play and get out of your own zone. If this team starts out 2-20...or whatever with continued play like yesterday...I believe Nolan is gone.

    I agree but Murray can't be too happy watching this. There needs to be at least some visible improvement eventually

    Don't blast me for asking and I know this team is rebuilding but if no improvement is shown and this team continues to play like this, does Nolan get fired or does he get a pass for the whole year?

    at least we are on pace for 40+ shots against. Consistency is important for any team.

    agree....good hits are (were) a great part of the game but players think they've been shown up or embarrassed so have to fight now.

    Apparently Nolan is a motivator and not a teacher. This team needs instruction on how to play in their own end and how to get out also. Get used to the 40+ shots against.

    Work hard and hope to win.....giving up 40 shots a game is what I remember most about his system.

    I understand the thought process. Just disagree with openly rooting for your home team to lose. That's all.

    give up 40 shots, can't get out of your own end and hope your goalie plays great......and can't score....How is this refreshing?

    Openly rooting for Sabres to lose.....wow. Are you upset when they win? Do you cheer when opponents score and boo when Sabres score?

    You guys really want another season like last year? Plus knowing the rule changes with the draft means there is less chance of getting 1st pick? I'm not watching hoping they lose.

    How do you get 1st downs then? Is that like blitzing every down even if it isn't working? Having said that, they threw the ball way too much yesterday.
