The period started with a monster hit by Risto....maybe somehow it triggered Joki and now Dahlin was inspired...those are the best hits I've seen Joki and Dahlin dish out in who knows how long!

IDK, the wishful thinking part of me is hoping they're playing with a little more inspiration FOR their injured captain...but who knows.

For a while now I've felt the Sabres are absolutely terrible about making timely shift changes in the 2nd period. Philly's second goal took advantage of a defensive pair mis-match with Montour being out there too long. Victor's last shift was way too long as well. Need shorter shifts!!!

Kyle has been a turnover machine tonight....before the game I would have been happy with that...but for some reason I have been sucked into a trap of a good 1st period and now want to see our team win tonight.
