I’m just mentioning it vis a vis the turnover ratio. That number has an almost inexorable way of trending back toward the middle. Surrendering sacks and getting no pressure on the QB are a recipe for failure.
-
Reading the box score: Turnover ratio of -4 on 4 fumbles and a dropped INT (for the Bills). That’s the way the oblong pigskin bounces. Thursday Night Football is such a crapshoot. Onward!
-
It’s almost as if recovering fumbles is fairly random.
-
Welp. Turnovers. The well ran dry.
-
I talked about a remove. This game is infuriating.
-
I don’t think I can watch the entirety.
-
3 and out. Fugly. Jesus. Bills D, not good.
-
Dirty ass play on Jones, too. Jfc. 5 sacks. Turnover ratio ... evening out.
-
That looks ... bad. Sorry, Zay.
-
Praise God.
-
And maybe force a punt. Making Forte look like it’s 2007.
-
If they’re gonna win - it’s gonna be ugly.
-
The D is ... regressing Oh, look it. Some good luck.
-
McCoy looking like McCoy. Phew.
-
Ruh roh Lesean.
-
Now’s a good time to pad that unsustainable turnover ratio. Oh, Leonard.
-
Blechk. Effing hell.
-
Jeebus Christmas. Awful.

My guess is fewer than 10. Situational stuff - like red zone.

I understand the feeling behind this. I've given up on being overly fatalistic -- am I in or am I out thinking -- about what the Bills are or aren't going to do. I'll be into it, but with a slight remove throughout the game. It's a trick I've developed. I find that it limits how pumped up I can get when they win -- how things went down with the Bucs, and how I responded, is an excellent example. This is a survival technique. I'm not sure what I'm apt to do if they end up playing a truly meaningful game in December or January. That's fun.

Sorry - it did auto-start for me at the right time-point. The Brady stuff starts at about 41:10.

Double yup. I knee-jerked about TT after the Carolina loss and poor clock management. I'm now firmly, essentially permanently in the camp described above. He's a decent-to-good NFL starter. He's worth keeping on and keeping around. And they should also be taking hard runs at drafting a successor to him. Well, there's reason 27A I never go there. Ever. White from WGR had it right earlier this week: 90% or so of Bills fans have an accurate understanding of what Taylor is and is not, and are okay with it. The remaining 10% are split on the guy ("Tyrod the GOD!" "He's a bum!") and are constantly screaming at each other. Now, now. ... point taken, though.

The Belichick story is not inconsistent with the other rumours about how Kraft directed the Garappolo trade so as to preserve Brady's spot as a forever-Patriot. Also, I very much enjoyed Bomani Jones on Tom Brady's training techniques being a snake oil con.
