Zegras is a key piece of the Ducks core moving forward. They're rebuilding with youth, but for them it's also a priority to have a few key veterans around to mentor the kids. As per my source (who works for the Ducks), 0% chance they trade Zegras or Drysdale.

This report is bunk... but at the time I was hoping they'd take Zegras instead of Cozens. That said, I'm glad they took Cozens, he has more compete and is a better overall player, what the Sabres needed.

Looked bad. On the backcheck he reached out with his left arm to defend the player in front of the net and it appears to get caught up as he moved past the player, hyper-extended elbow or dislocated shoulder would be my guess.

Funny..... my source is beating the same drum. Heard Bettman is looking south... OKC, HOU, KC. Hold up on Dahlin contract is due to the fact that a pricey long term deal will make it more difficult to sell the team. He defends extremely well, but he needs to stay healthy. I also expect an uptick in offensive production. He has the tools to be a 30-35pt player.

I'd say he plays upwards of 60-65 games, not necessarily in the Calder discussion, but with some typical ups and downs of a rookie. Overall providing (at minimum) average NHL goaltending which will springboard this team into the playoffs.
