Actually the wet hopped beer isn't limited to a Randall presentation and you can get fresh or wet hopped beers from quite a few craft breweries. The wet hopped beers are only limited to being brewed obviously at the time of hop harvest. Cool. The hop filtering apparatus is called a randall, there are usually a bunch of beers at homebrewing conferences and festivals served like this. Good stuff.

I'm right there with you. In fact I just did it two weeks ago with a pub crawl on Saturday night, basically "slept" outside, and up at 7 am to get to the tailgate on opening day.

On a last minute whim I caught Gaelic Storm last night at a club in Raleigh, and what a fantastic show they put on. If you are a fan of gaelic influenced rock music I highly recommend catching one of their shows, and even if you aren't a fan of this genre I still highly recommend going to see them as the fiddle player in her short dress is very easy on the eyes.

The Charlotte Oktoberfest is always a good time. The best part of it is they have a homebrewers section where I get to pour my homebrew and rub elbows with the pros. I'm not sure how this is allowed in a legal sense, but it's been going on for years. If anyone makes it look for me to be pouring my hefeweizen "The Ape". The alcohol would be gone along with hop flavor and aroma, I also think many of esters and such produced by fermentation are volatiles that would be lost when boiling.

Sounds like you could accomplish the same thing by just purchasing some liquid malt extract from your local homebrew store and combining it with a hop tea.

Absolutely! I was in Buffalo last weekend enjoying the gorgeous weather, but when I got off the plane in Raleigh on Monday I was instantly in a foul mood with the heat and humidity ( I don't know what Reggie was talking about loving the weather the last three weeks here as it's absolutely sucked). Thankfully, this weekend is looking like 75-80 with low humidity here as well.

I had sciatica once when my wife was 8 months pregnant with our first. She was miserable and bedridden herself, but she got tired of hearing me moaning in pain while lying on the family room floor, so she got up and drove me to urgent care. I'm not talking about the standing up vs. sitting down argument, I'm squarely in the camp of that you sit down if the people behind you request that you do so. You know there's a reason why they put the 12th man up on the wall at one point. The impact of noise on the other teams ability to execute their offense effectively is unquestionable. Based on what I see (and don't hear anymore) they might as well just take the 12th man down. And you're not less of a fan, just a less effective one.

I called just about a week ago and was able to get the free Sunday ticket, the woman who was taking care of me asked if there was anything else she could do for me so I figured I would ask for a Center Ice deal. She told me that they weren't offering deals on that sports package yet, she mumbled some stuff about only marketing two sports packages at a time. She told me to call back in a few weeks and that I'd probably get a discount. I'll report back after I call.
