  1. I hope this also would include a massive renovation to update the building
  2. I dont know if he will drop the mitts like Foligno did, but he can even come close to replacing that, that would be huge. The Foligno trade, for me personally, is when it all went wrong for me, you just dont trade young power forwards especially one thats dad played for you, to bring back an aging Pominville? Ive always felt that Terry wanted this trade and he forced the GMs hand Remember thought Doan is 23, yes hes hasnt played a ton of games, but he is 23, he is isnt 20 just getting a taste
  3. I think this is his ceiling to be honest. He may not be quite the hitter that Peca was, nobody in the nhl is, but he is a forechecking machine that has some talent. I really think Doan is going to be one of my favorite players this year, his growth could change this whole team
  4. A little high AAV but I still like it, I think he is gonna be really solid 5 million left, have to sign Levi. Still room for a Roslovic or a mid level top 6 add
  5. Ill say this, keeping the trial and thoughts about that outside of it. Michael is a decent hockey player, he is a big bodied defensive center. And he has played for Lindy before, in fact he sorta seems like a Paul Gaustad type, I think Lindy probably loves the way he plays hockey. He has fought a list of heavy weights and handled himself well. If the trial was not a thing, this kind of an add would be just what the Sabres need . Michael McLeod is a strong-skating, two-way center known for his speed, compete level, and defensive responsibility. He is a physical player who excels at winning puck battles and contributing in all three zones. While originally drafted as a highly skilled offensive player, he has developed into a reliable defensive forward in the NHL Keeping it just about the hockey, he would be a good add. I just do not know if Buffalo and Terry would allow this. I'm sure NHL teams will take them on, look at sports in general, if players can play we tend to forget about off ice/field/court stuff very fast.
  6. We also said we wouldnt trade Cozens, Mitts and Peterka....the only one we did say was Byram lol and he is still here
  7. dont do this to me lol
  8. I also think the new directive of “we need to be tougher to play against” hasn’t fully been accomplished yet yes Kesserling, Doan, Danforth , and Timmins all play the right and will be extremely harder to play against, but we still are missing that truly mean element they have added it to the Amerks in spades but haven’t really done it yet for the Sabres I wonder about a guy like Brendan Smith, has played for Lindy in the past But truly add like a player like Neighbors would just complete the offseason from not only a good addition but accomplishing there goal. I don’t think Neighbors is available but someone like him. McTavish maybe, and other than that I don’t know who would be available? Any one older who plays that kinda game tends to have a no move, like a Kadri So I’d be interested to see if anyone knows any additional names that maybe could be of interest?
  9. Love love love hearing this. I think he can be that guy too! And ya Byram isnt the biggest guy but he didnt shy away from anything when it came to physicality
  10. I mean i certainly would take a flyer on him if the acquisition costs are minimal. I mean remember guys are injury prone sometimes and they suddenly they aren't. This is a gamble that good teams would take If it didnt work he is only signed for one year at 2.1 million and is an RFA after so we would control him if it didnt work. If it was between say Roslovic or Chinakov id lean Chinakov because i think his ceiling is higher, but it it was between Chinakov or McTavish, obviously you go MacTavish, though the acquisition costs to get McTavish would be large
  11. That’s a good question, boy with not an easy response, I don’t know what they would want Östlund/Helenius and a top 5 protected first? They would probably want a guy like Krebs back I do also think I would put Kulich in the package if needed too, but with him I’m likely sending less pieces back I think that’s light, I could see them liking Quinn as a piece and then we could move Kulich to the wing If KA can pull off McTavish….this off season look waaaaay different
  12. I have to admit those numbers suprised me
  13. Dakota Joshua from Van to Toronto for a 4th round pick
  14. I still want Voronkov, maybe a deal around Voronkov and Severson? Perhaps he would waive to come play for Lindy again.
  15. We could do a lot worse then Patches on a one year deal Even Roslovic wouldn’t be bad, but he is prone to the odd stretch of uninspired play thats why patches makes sense, he clearly still has it. Might be a bit slower, but he still plays the game the right and is still mean and tough, I’d take a shot
  16. If he actually is gotta assume we are would they want Byram as part of the package any chance they would send Helleson back? Mctavish and Helleson for Byram and Krebs and a pick? Or maybe Helenius or Östlund? my rationale would be Byram is better then Helleson, but McTavish is way better then Krebs so I’d assume we need to add
  17. I agree, Thank you for the excellent list. A guy like Novikov stealing Sammys spot is exactly what this team needs, he is just the opposite of Sammy where toughness and grit are just right at the fore-front for him, so I personally cant wait to see Novikovs year this year. If Sammy gets hurt and Novikov comes up, I would not be suprised if Novikov doesnt let go of that spot
  18. I still think Neighbors is more likely cause Snuggerud can take his spot. Id even be okay if it was Byram plus Krebs for McTavish, if Anaheim needed a center back that had some toughness
  19. IF McTavish was available you have to do that. Even add if needed.
  20. I also would trade Kulich for Robertson and I wouldnt even blink.
  21. Just watched an interview with Frank Seravalli, and he said wait to judge the Peterka trade, give it 2 weeks because the other shoe needs to drop and KA is not done yet. He did said he think Byram will be traded by then and he states 7-9 teams have been in contact at different times. He also says it likely is a forward they are looking at to come back and replace Peterka. If so this would be huge, then its just add a defensman to back fill and play with Dahlin....Hello my dreams of Ferraro and Neighbors
  22. If you are getting Robertson you give that first and you don't even think about it, you are getting a 100 point player in his prime! The fans that you would win back and the good favor with players would be immeasurable! With Robertson in this line up there is no way its not a playoff team/contender. And they would want im sure Quinn and then a butt load of futures. I doubt they would want Byram
  23. Now that I dont know as Rust has 3 years left, but if they would retain enough to say get Rust at 4 million? that would be valuable as he has 3 years left on his deal. I would think a lot of teams would line up that I do think if we make a deal for Rust it will cost more then people want to give, but this is the time to push those futures in
  24. I think that is there plan, especially if Byram stays
