Someone has to explain to me why using up a potential expansion payday which helps the money losing Buffalo Sabres is better than staying in Phoenix with a joint new Phoenix Suns arena like Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, New York, Detroit, Philadelphia and Dallas does it sharing a arena. When you consider that is what the Houston Rockets are offering? Do that in Phoenix when the Suns build their new arena. I get the current Phoenix Suns arena has obstructed seats. But it’s better than Arizona State tiny hockey arena. Why is it bad now the Phoenix Suns arena but Arizona State arena was ok? When the Phoenix Suns arena was good enough to leave Winnipeg for to begin with? Again I don’t get it but I don’t get the NHL at all. The NHL is backwards even compared to MLS that gets facilities built and keeps expanding. BSF what are you saying. What I am saying is keep Phoenix in Phoenix. Expand to Houston (WHA), San Antonio (AHL), San Diego (WHA), Cincinnati (WHA), Cleveland (NHL & WHA), Atlanta (NHL twice), Birmingham (They had the Birmingham Bulls for years in the WHA no professional teams in the state of Alabama), Indianapolis (WHA), Kansas City (NHL), Hartford (No professional teams in the state of Connecticut WHA & NHL). Remember back in the day 20 Buffalo Sabres games were on television. 15 Buffalo Braves games were shown in the last season 1977-78 on WIVB television 4. No wonder they failed if you aren’t on television in some way your done as a franchise. So if you didn’t have Buffalo Sabres season tickets you were listening to radio WGR 550 which I did listened on radio to Ted Darling that called all the Sabres games along with Pat Hannigan. With the 4th period post game call in show with Stan Roberts after the game. The Buffalo Braves Van Miller on WBEN 930 radio called the games with pregame show of Braves Pow Wow. Van Miller did the whole Braves games himself like Vince Scully of the Los Angeles Dodgers even reading some of the advertisements. No one is trained like that anymore in broadcasting school. I remember when the Buffalo Bills were on WWKB 1520 with Al Melzer and Rick Azar that is how far I go back I am old. Rick Jeanneret only called the Buffalo Sabres radio games when Ted Darling was on WWKB television 7 than the Buffalo Sabres moved to WGR television 2. Then cable came into Western New York and you got 40 Sabres games half the schedule than radio. All 150 Buffalo Bisons games are on MLB television streaming today I don’t need a newspaper reporter or the radio anymore. I get all the Buffalo Big Four college basketball games along with Buffalo Bandits and UB football on television or ESPN plus streaming. There is no need for sports reporters anymore I saw the game and if I missed the game I can watch on archive so you don’t need a reporter anymore nor do you need WGR 550 anymore telling you what you just saw in my opinion. And for the record at least in the 1990’s Buffalo Sabres made the playoffs and also the 1990’s Buffalo had the Buffalo Bandits, Buffalo Blizzard, Buffalo Destroyers, Buffalo Stampede and Buffalo local college basketball downtown all either champions or playoff contender. Larry Quinn got Buffalo tenants I had season tickets for all those Buffalo sports teams. PSE with Terry Pegula sucks on that alone. I don’t let Terry Pegula any where near a Buffalo Key Bank Center renovation he sucks booking Buffalo sports teams for Key Bank Center. Make Key Bank Center active with new Buffalo teams in indoor soccer, arena/indoor football so we can have fun again. It didn’t matter if the Buffalo Sabres were mediocre in the 1990’s we had a lot more Buffalo sports entertainment besides the Buffalo Sabres downtown. The Buffalo Bandits won three championships in the 1990’s 1992, 1993, 1996 and the Buffalo Stampede RHI roller hockey won a Murphy Cup championship in 1994. We haven’t won anything under that incompetent Terry Pegula that some idiot Buffalo fans see that incompetent fool as some kind of Buffalo savior he is an idiot that didn’t added to the Key Bank Center offerings. Local college basketball is non existent today that alone is a disgrace with PSE but there saviors no there incompetent takers that run a low level operation just watching there franchise value go up for basically do very little to improve the quality of life in Buffalo. PSE has done nothing for growing events at Key Bank Center. Sell the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits and the Key Bank Center to someone that gets it like Larry Quinn. Arena football and indoor soccer has combined payrolls for both teams as much as a loser 4th line Buffalo Sabres player today. That is what Larry Quinn got and Terry Pegula doesn’t get. The Buffalo Sabres can’t guarantee winning and can’t carry the arena themselves. The more teams Buffalo has under Key Bank Center the better the chances for a championship which changes fans perception of ownership. I am sorry but people don’t see PSE pays more for coaches and GM’s to go away that could be used for a whole year salaries of the one of three arena/indoor football choices Arena Football League coming back next year, IFL Indoor Football League or NAL National Arena League and MASL Major Arena Soccer League indoor soccer. Bring the Buffalo Destroyers and Buffalo Blizzard back it charges your image as a loser owner because Buffalo can compete in small leagues like that for championships which changes negatively and perception but Terry Pegula too much of a idiot to understand that in my opinion. Hopefully the Buffalo Bandits win the NLL championship this year because the Matt Vinc starting Bandits goalie window is closing and the Bandits are going to have to find a replacement starting goalie soon. UPL and Comrie can have whatever issues they want on the unemployment line if they aren’t happy as Buffalo Sabres backup goalies. Does the team sell merchandise does the Atlanta Thrashers fans watch in huge numbers from a television standpoint. The Buffalo Sabres can have 2,000 fans at Key Bank Center it doesn’t really matter. How many are watching at home with MSG, ESPN+ subscription and buy the merchandise. The Buffalo Sabres exist on not just Western New York but all the Western New York transplants that watch and buy Sabres stuff. Again expansion is good add 40 teams if it keeps Sabres hockey in Buffalo and the NHL owners get a billionaire fool to folk over millions in NHL expansion fees go for it. If I had to guess if someone moves to Atlanta relocation I think it will be the Winnipeg Jets moving back to become the Atlanta Thrashers again like the Los Angeles Rams. Because the Winnipeg Jets are down 3,000 a game in a very small arena to begin with. Houston if it’s relocation I think it will be the Arizona Coyotes.
