In the past, I will go stand at ice level behind the net for a period. It is amazing how fast the game moves, and how hard the puck is shot when you are in that part of the rink.

From BN… The Sabres also announced Monday that Matt Smith has joined Don Granato's coaching staff as a video coordinator. Most recently, Smith was the head coach at Saint Ignatius College Prep in Chicago, where he previously ran the Chicago Jets youth hockey organization. He and Granato met approximately a decade ago, when the latter was scouting for the Vancouver Canucks. Smith led Saint Ignatius to its first Chicago Catholic Hockey League championship for the 2021-22 seasonn. He was also named the league's coach of the year. The opening on Granato's staff was created by former video coach Myles Fee joining the Florida Panthers.

Very sad. Clearly for her to be out of the public eye for 3 months, either the rehab is not going well, or there is some permanent damage that is causing her to stay out of the spotlight.

Then at the risk of repeating myself, are they going to risk playing them in meaningless preseason games? Just venting as I was hoping to see them play in the games this week. 😞

Just looked at his stats. Was only over 100 yards rushing in a season four times, with a high of 204 yards. Other than both having good size, I don't think they are comparable at all from a rushing perspective.

So, using your logic, none of them should also not play in any pre-season games? They have a whopping 12 NHL games between them. God forbid, they get as much actual game experience in, prior to the season.

Still don't understand the point of not having Power, Quinn & JJP participate? Instead, use their spots for a bunch of guys who are not Sabres property.

I thought all 3 would participate...or at least 2 of 3. Hey...let's go see one of the prospect games...Quinn, Peterka, Power....ummmm, nope. Did Eichel play in the prospect tourney? Dahlin? The good news...you can pay regular season box office prices to see them in a pre-season game.

Looking at the schedule of games, very odd that all participating teams play 3 games except for the Pens, who only play 1. 🤔

Second biggest issue besides cost, would be the fact that HarborCenter(and its associated parking and hotel), are connected to the arena. That being said, I would love a new arena!!!

While this season should prove to be very exciting for Bills fans, and hopefully will end in a SB championship, I just wonder how many fans will be disappointed with anything less. After all, so many variables during the season and playoffs. What are the odds the Bills actually go all the way… 15-25%(maybe less)?
