Always have liked seeing Jost with VO, they had a nice run in the middle of the season until they jumbled the lines. Maybe adding Greenway who is an okay passer and decent defender will help the Olofsson/Jost line even more I know we are all (justifiably) not high on VO, but wouldn't be awesome to see him going on a tear as the season comes to an end?

The isles are out of striking distance at this point IMO. But if Pitt continues at this rate, they are going to play themselves out of the playoffs. It's been there for the taking as pretty much all the teams fighting for 8th have gone ice cold. Pitt, Fla, Buff, Wash, and Ottawa have all been awful their last 10. It's almost like no one wants to actually take the spot

You don't think any of that scoring potential has anything to do with our offensive minded coach? Or that the late season melt down has anything to do with our poor goaltending and/or young team? Let the guy see it through, these "fire the coach" takes are just so reactionary. Look at the last 2 seasons as a whole and your opinion should change. I'm on board with a coaching staff hire to aid Granato with coaching a more structured defensive approach, but firing him -at this point- is a terribly bad idea

I agree they both do it, but they are also frequently not in a position to do so because they cheat in when on offense. The fact that Samuelson tends to stay home whereas the other two do not makes him a really good compliment that they sorely miss when he's not around

He's so important because, sadly, his skillset is unique among our defenseman. A defensive defender who can separate the man from the puck efficiently and then move the puck away. IMO, his absence is felt more sharply because we simply don't have anyone else that is like him (yet). They need another defensive defenseman in the top 4 so that we have redunancy in his skill set.. so we aren't screwed when he inevitably misses more games.

saw this one pop up on twitter.. looks like neuchev is back on the mhl team for the playoffs. coast to coast & taking on both defenders 😮 edit: looks like this is the third game of the series, but elite prospects also shows that he had a hat trick + assist in the first game. idk how the second game went.

I don't like the look of that greenway, krebs, mitts line. Who scores the goals there?!
