So, no word anywhere on why the call up or any news on a Sabres Injury. Interesting .....

Bryson has played more than acceptable as a 7th dman. He was smart with the puck and was playing fast and physical.

The Sabres missed the mark with him. He had value. He scored 28 (I think) last year??? You cannot tell me someone would not have wanted that! He has 48 goals in the last 2 seasons. This was a serious whiff by management keeping him.

6k is finally looking like he did before he had the knee surgeries. It was the long distance shots he sucked on and he seems to track them pretty good and no rebounds. Hope it continues!!!

6k played very good!vHe definitely got some defensive help in the 3rd but was huge making the hard saves when needed. This is what he was before he had to have the knee surgeries a few years ago. Not really happy with the first goal, but i guess when your body is already in motion, it is hard to just change directions on a dime. Disappointed in the way the team played offensively in front of him though. Not on the 5 goals on 15 shots, but the 15 shots!!! We were dominating in the 1st and with 5 mins left Philly straight up took over. We scored on our chances and Philly did not because of 6K. 6K stole that game and the we made our shots count. Need to be better! Have to say, with Clifton out our defense still looked good. Definitely loving our 7 that we have! The whole team was not noticeable offensively with the exception of the goals. Biro was flying around though. His speed was pretty good and he is not afraid of the front of the net. First couple of shifts rocky but he got his feet going and was not too bad.

Love the Douglas pickup for the Bills. Not going to help with the ass kicking the Bills are about to get but a great pickup none the less! He was loved in GB and they are pissed they did not get more for him.

The Sabres missed the boat on trading Olofsson. His value could not have been higher, and we kept him and it is dropping like a rock.

I just saw the video and it is looks blatant. How or why his leg even comes up bogles me. We was not twisting. His leg should have never left the ice

He passed away about 3 or 4 years ago. I had an email from him just a couple of days before. He was in his 50's if i remember correctly

I always like 6K. When i was on the SF sabres board (RIP Goat!), that was his nickname there from day 1. UPL, 6K, not a biggie. I would love for him to hit his stride and be the hype he was supposed to be.

Have to say, this was a fun game to watch. One of the best games this team played in a long long time. Pretty much domination starting after a few mins in until the very end. Now they are showing they can hang with the best teams in the league, but they need to bring this every game. Johnson has been one of the best signings in a long time as well. His leadership is willing defense into every player and he makes our PK a ton better. Nice to see the team respond and i hope it continues

Avs my second fave team. They are my backup when the Sabres suck wind. LOL Hoping for a Sabres win here. They played and matched Jersey on the road, and i think they can do it today! Lets go Buffalo!!!!

I think that is not a fair observation. 2 of those goals towards the end he really had little chance on. The Sabres were not covering in front of their own net and got seriously defensively sloppy in the last 4. I think UPL did good and was pretty solid.

I said 10 games before i post judgement, but unless this team seriously improves, there is going to be some serious reckoning. They are not playing and showing what they did last year. I will admit our defense is better, goaltending looks better with the exception of Levi's last game, but the offense is pretty dismal. Not like quite a few players. Tuch, Okposo, Thompson, Krebs, and Olofsson. Hell that's almost 2 lines. Basics, basics, basics!!! Stop trying pretty passes and crash the freaking net! Do not let opponents by themselves crash our net!!! (Last night's 2nd goal). If the goalie you are playing is hot, crash and bump him and make him uncomfortable. This is all hockey 101. Do it, live it and move on!

I think the boys in B&G played well last night with the exception of crashing the net and shot selection. Their effort is there, but a lot of the stars from last year just do not look like stars this year. I think we are going to be in for a rude disappointing reality with this team, but i am seriously hoping i am wrong. Prediction, an ass kicking tonight. Sens kill us. They are fast and physical. How many years has it been since we had someone that would enter the zone and go straight to the front of the net and take the beatings and cause chaos? How many times have we seen other teams enter our zone and go straight to our net while we do little to clear the way?? This is all basic hockey 101. You can have all the skill in the world but outside snipe shots can only get you so far. If the Sabres do not change their offensive and defensive way of thinking, it is going to be a long year. The way to beat the Sabres is very easy: forecheck, crash our net, and keep Sabres to the outside in the Offensive zone.

Just listened to his interview on the post game show. He is one smart man and a definite smart bring!! Now if that message can be crushed into the the rest of the team. How many times were the Flames the first people back to defend in their zone compared to Buffalo?

Home product on the ice is the same product we have seen the last few years. They are easily pushed around and play scared at home. They try to be too pretty instead of just playing hockey and shooting the damn puck. They do not ever defend in front of their own net and are chicken to crash the other teams net. You can have all the skill you want, but if you do not play the basics of hockey you are not going to win much. Fans do not want to pay crazy prices to watch their home team lose night after night.
