5/23/22 Game 2 GDT Rochester @ Laval - 7pm AHLTV

Unless we get some folks back this is going to end quickly. Losing the captain, starting goalie, and not having our best defenseman hurts when it counts. Happy for the run and playoff excitement. have not had that in awhile. -

Hoping we get some good news on the walking (Or not) wounded coming back tonight!! Need Muel! -
He seems to like staying in front of the net looking for the rebounds.... a good thing.
-
Definitely agree with getting a bit more physical. This team has drafted smaller skilled players for awhile and needs some physicality. I am all for adding some skilled size players that are seriously physical for the 3rd/4th line. Agree with most though that Asplund should not be moved....he is great defensively and when he is on the ice, the ice always seems to tilt away from the Sabres net.
-
Hoping that Sabres Management and scouting are keeping a good watch on the Amerks series...... This team needs size with a bit of grit. (OK, both Sabres and Amerks). Skilled players are nice but when they are pushed around and cleared out of the crease it is not helpful or good for the team overall. Muel was really needed in this series, and day to day seems to have turned into not the whole playoffs.

Playoff GDT 5/10/22 - Rochester @ Utica 7pm AHLTV

This team needs Muel to win this series. Hopefully back for the next game. Either way it is good experience for the kids and it allows us to see who has that playoff next gear! -
Flat cap??? Teams just pull a TB or LVG and LTIR them until the playoffs. As for Offer sheets....i would not be surprised to see one or two. It will NOT be the Sabres though. KA seems dead firm on not screwing up this rebuild.

I see what you are saying. Although if his production stays the same as this year he is more then worth the 5 per along with his leadership and the respect that "Dad" has in the locker room. They have the money and this is working. Again, i do get what you are saying. Sabres have a higher view of him i am sure.

Sabres president of hockey ops — I'm calling it (again)

I think this subject has always been a waste of time. If you have a good smart GM that actually RUNS the team and the Coach and GM work well together, you do not need another hand stirring the pot. K/A is doing the right thing and is kind of following the Bills path. That's all you need. -
Pre-Game Atmosphere at Key Bank Arena is Lacking

This times 1000!!! Put a good exciting competitive team on the ice night after night and the place will slowly fix itself! Stay away from stupid gimmicky crap. The current team is slowly winning back fans and they (The org) needs to not do anything stupid and stay classy -
Was not a fan of his. In fact i stopped reading his crap. But wish him well as long it is away from any Buffalo team.
-
I know next year is last on KO contract but he needs to stay and keep leading this group of kids. I personally think he would easily stay!
-
Sign a vet gritty forward that can pot 15-20 a year and can crush the stupid and help the kids grow some more kahunas. Other then that, i would sign/extend Victor and Don't touch any high end F/A. JJ and Quinn up, add some young talent to Ra cha cha and i am happy..... ohhhhhhhhhh GET A DAMN MINDER!!!!!!! That is all....

Ok, so i did not get to watch the game (Damn blackout!) but i was able to watch the extended highlights. Happy that the Sabres seemed to keep coming but damn, did NJ get their goalies from the gutter?? He was 100% horrible. 3 of the goals were garbage crazy bounce goals. The look on Lindy's face was so damn funny!!! -
Their ability to get into the offense zone is horrible!!! Once they are in the zone It looks like uncontrolled chaos, but once they settle it down, they are money. They need to seriously work on entering the zone..... i think a lot of it is young confidence. It will get better as they team matures

Radio Only for me....... All Ranger, Isles, and Devils games blacked out for me. Let's go Buffalo!!! -
I think this offseason is going to be one of the most interesting in a long time. With the most likely add of Quinn and JJ, (6K?), not many spots left and about 5-6 mil to add to hit the floor I believe. Really do not want to go big F/A hunting as this team seems to have an amazing chemistry that i would not even consider messing with. I would be happy giving 6K a shot at goal with Anderson as a b/u and Mentor. Maybe a vet that's seriously physical for D spot 5-6. Same with 4th line. Need to be big and can clear a space and be a bitch to move off the puck. I think we have seen what happens to big name F/A that come here.... no thank you.
