NJ can’t score. They have Hughes and Hishier and Bratt but don’t get much from anyone else. Meier has been a disappointment for them and Mercer’s offensive game hasn’t developed. They need more options up front.

No it’s about Pegula not wanting any pennies spent. They can’t risk a trade that adds any payroll. When they brought Lindy in cheap because NJ is still paying him part of his salary and didn’t let him bring in any of his coaches because that would cost additional money then the writing was on the wall about how this team is being operated.
