Playoffs.

Called in for jury duty this morning. Was dreading having to drive home in snowpocalypse today and possibly having to venture back in tomorrow. Well, they called my name before noon, said the case I had been picked for had adjourned and I was free for another 7 years. Home in time for lunch, and hibernating 'til Wednesday...awesome! :)

No experience here, no kids at all...but just wanted to wish you the best. I only know you from your posts, but based on those it's obvious to me that you will do the very best for him.

This. I recently started as a Direct Care Volunteer at a Hospice, and have spent a lot of time caring for and chatting with the patients. Talk about perspective... :(

I want us to suck so hard for one year that we're able to draft the next Ovechkin or Crosby and build around him for the next decade. Trading Miller and Vanek would help us achieve that. I think it's the only realistic way we ever get a player of this caliber.

Pileateds are definitely badass. My wife puts out grape jelly and we get TONS of orioles in our yard. They literally queue up in the pine tree next to it, each waiting their turn to indulge. It's like crack to them. Birds are so cool. Love the little "purring" sound that nuthatches make too.
